I have to say, contrary to expectations, I like the AI support and hope this is expanded - there’s so much room for innovation here.

Considering network issues, the nodes in NJ are >20ms to NY via HE. It’s currently less to Toronto. That said for what I paid, I’m not complaining. =)

(Quote) I suspect that is thanks to @FAT32 including them in the BF/CM thread; I don't believe @VirMach has actually been active on LET for some time (not that I think they were kicked off, just looks like they stopped visiting which is perfectly re…

(Quote) Agreed on both counts, but b) is worded more like a threat than a genuine offer imo.

(Quote) I'm not one to defend breaking the TOS, and it was clearly broken here with multiple accounts... However, by the looks of it this person has been a customer since at least 2018 and presumably has not been an issue until this was raised. I'm…

@VirMach what is the latest update on the IPv6 situation (for AMS and NYC, if it matters)? It would be good to know if this is in the pipeline, or something to not expect anytime soon.
-
@Neoon out here running a service for free that would put many paid providers to shame. <3

(Quote) $1y IPv6? 😂
-
(Quote) one could say the same about being teased with $1 IPv6 deals and being left with blue balls. 🥵
-
(Quote) I thought I was being cheap looking for $1 deals. 😂
-
(Quote) I'll take the $1 deal now with provisioning at Christmas? :p
-
@host_c No $1 IPv6 :s
-
@host_c need bot proof $1 IPv6 deal! Feel free to DM me the link to be anti-bot. 😂

(Quote) @FAT32 hibernates all year to prepare for BF/CM; sleep won't be needed until the offers officially end.

(Quote) It's far too late/early for me to keep going (UK time) - already blew past a few deadlines :'(. Fun challenge though - better than competing with bots. =)

(Quote) OK - appreciated. For those who want to decode themselves: Reflector - UKW C Rotor I - 2 - A Rotor III - 1 - A Rotor V - 1 - B For everyone else: (Spoiler)

(Quote) Yes. ;)

@VirMach, do I win anything for first decoding the instructions? :'(
-
(Quote) What do I win if I get it? :p
-
(Quote) How can we test if we get it? ;)
-
(Quote) No - read the qualification criteria.
-
Props to @VirMach so far - payment located and order created. :)

(Quote) Done - #720403. I had to create this using the 'Emergency & Priority Support' button because I could find no other way to submit a ticket - hopefully this is OK. Edit: OK, now a big green 'Contact Us' button shows - it 100% absolutely …

Caved for $5 deal, but payment failed and redirected to account support level page :/. Should have known better.

If planning to offer free or at cost plans for charities and non-profits, would a non-profit or public benefit corporation not be more appropriate? Personally, I find the name rather misleading given the intent.

(Quote) … what? 🤨 It’s named Hetzner after the founder, Martin Hetzner, and of course most of the staff are German; it’s a German company.
-
(Quote) This would be an interesting option, but they’ve put so much into paid add-ons the “free” part barely functions as a help desk.

iOS 18.1 has call recording (and transcription), though I’ve not tried it out.

(Quote) Nobody is disputing that, and every effort should be made to undo the wrongs of the past. But the TLD wasn't taken from anyone, it was brought into existence by an unrelated entity long after the forced deportation. (Quote) "neither th…

(Quote) I still can't see how residents, who admittedly were expelled by force in 60s-70s, would be owed royalties from a domain TLD established by a private company in the 90s. The TLD wasn't taken from anyone, and indeed it's unlikely it would eve…

(Quote) Vultr is also free to/from B2, which could be a viable option. There may be others, the Bandwidth Alliance partner agreements aren't clear beyond to/from Cloudflare.

(Quote) There have been no permanent residents on the islands for decades, and the domain came into existence while there was no permanent residents. It's right that the court ruled the way it did and that sovereignty is being returned, but who exac…

(Quote) I'd be surprised if there weren't suitable compute options (DigitalOcean, Scaleway, Vultr, etc.) with low latency to Backblaze B2.

(Quote) As others have said, Hetzner and German providers in general are a poor choice for anything even slightly out of the norm - it shouldn’t be the case and nobody can be expected to simply know this, but it sadly is what it is. Interestingly t…

(Quote) Depends how hacky of a solution is tolerable really. It’s not beyond the realm of possibility to create a small API script on the hypervisor that translates API calls to BashVM commands (not too hacky), or have the FOSSBilling module connect…
