(Quote) You use Jellyfin on its own? no radarr/sonarr etc?
-
(Quote) You can find them easily with google and github c'mon (apart from my apps which are not opensource yet)

My favorite is Bookstack

Seafile with iDrive e2 for storage. It's an awesome combo for performance and pricing
-
(Quote) Yes, you can stream videos, I checked that. What I meant is that if you look at the filesystem at how the files are stored, they are not stored as the original files. They are stored in "chunks", similar to how git stores versioned…
-
(Quote) Then try Seafile, it's A LOT better! I just discovered it even does delta sync, which means it only uploads the parts of a file which have changed, not the entire file. So I am syncing even virtual machines now. I love it!

(Quote) yep :)

I bought dynasite.dev for now
-
(Quote) Even better lol

(Quote) Next please :joy:

(Quote) 29 for one single payment is fine. Maybe they have even lowered the price lol

I have been using FastestVPN for months and it still rocks. I bought a lifetime license for just $29 🀄 It works better than expensive VPNs like ExpressVPN did for me.

(Quote) It depends on what you are going to run on it and how much cpu and memory your workloads need. Do you have an idea about that?

(Quote) Thanks! Looking forward to any feedback you may have 👍

(Quote) Thanks!

It’s too late anyway to consider it because I’ve already paid for mx route
-
(Quote) I went with the regular yearly plan, not lifetime since I don't know if I am happy with it yet.
-
(Quote) Oh. I already purchased MXRoute although I have not set it up yet because I will be traveling tomorrow. What's the difference between the two? I have seen MXRoute mentioned often but not the other one.

Update..... after reading more about the risks with spam filtering etc I decided to switch back to normal email hosting because I don't want to risk to affect the reputation of my domains. I didn't want to stay with Zoho though so I purchased a plan…
-
(Quote) I guess that's what I got charged anyway when I used it...

Interesting read https://support.google.com/mail/thread/146261119/can-email-forwarded-by-cloudflare-marked-as-spam-harm-the-domain-reputation?hl=en In Gmail's web app emails I get forwarded by Cloudflare show 'mailed-by: mydomain.com' not Cloudflar…

(Quote) PM sent :)

(Quote) Yeah I have Zoho paid for a while still so I'll see how it goes. In the worst case it takes just a few hours to switch back (config + email migration). But so far it looks promising
-
(Quote) Just did the test and got this (Image) Looks good to me :D

(Quote) Cloudflare basically has MX servers who receive the email and forward it to whichever address you configure. Do you have any resource confirming that flagging an email as spam in Gmail with this setup would mark Cloudflare as the spammer? It…
-
Pull from where? With this setup the email only gets stored in Gmail (or equivalent), it's not stored by Cloudflare. Cloudflare only forwards/routes the email and that's it :) (Quote) Can you clarify?
-
What downsides? For 1), I use Gmail but this works with any free email service. What's wrong with Gmail as free account? For 2) I did offer the suggestion of using an SMTP relay :)

Can this be used as a replacement for Dropbox/Netxtcloud/etc or am I misunderstanding it? Can you create multiple users like with Nextcloud?
-
I ordered a Kimsufi dedi btw to see how it performs. It's just 25e/mo with 6TB
-
(Quote) That's what I was using before :) But performance with Plex was not the best although it worked okaish
-
For me streaming with NordVPN was not good with some locations. At the moment I have subscriptions with Private Internet Access (which supports port forwarding, awesome for torrents) and KeepSolid.

Nice lists! Thanks for sharing, I have learned about a few tools I didn't know about :)
-
(Quote) Ah.... I thought it had its own client with secure connection.

to be more on topic: I have all my photos in iCloud, and the library is synced to Nextcloud self hosted. My server is backed up to both Hetzner Storage Box and Backblaze B2.
-
Hope it's OK if I ask this here: can PhotoPrism be hooked to Nextcloud storage to retrieve the photos BUT without duplicating photos and without changing anything in the actual files in Nextcloud? Thanks

(Quote) Do yo run PiHole/AdGuard on a server? If yes I guess you restrict access to port 53 by IP right? Otherwise your server could be used in amplification attacks. (Quote) I have Gitea already. I have used Gitlab before and it's too much going o…
