I have the Mac version and I can confirm it is very sensitive to available RAM. It crashes constantly if I have a lot of other stuff running. Works flawlessly if I only have Luminar running.

I still daily drive a T440P hackintosh. i7 4810MQ / 16G / second HDD in ODD bay. Great machine built like a tank. The CPU is a dinosaur now though. Get a T series Thinkpad (go for one of the P models). You won't regret.
