@msatt said: Wondered if you could give us details as to how we can use the Debian 12 beta template as I am having to upgrade each build at the moment from 11 to 12.
This is resyncing. I didn't sync it properly last time but no one noticed (including me.)

The server has been suspended and informed that I have abused IO. I have submitted a work order appeal and do you have time to handle it? Please apply to lift the suspension. Thank you
^ Oh crikey - 91 DMs - how do you get time to do anything and still read this thread as well as run the company. Do you actually sleep?
Serious comment - Could I offer any help or can we do anything on LES to help ?
Peace on earth will come to stay, when we all live as LESbians every day.

May I know the node? Mine was also suspended several days ago for the same reason. It was just unsuspended a few hours ago.
Mine is NYCB028.

I also forgot which node, I have been using VirMach for almost 3 years and I purchased 15 units, all of which are annual VPS payments,. This is the first time I have encountered this situation

You quoted me so I am responding.
This is not the Virmach support forum and this is a sales thread.
But how am I supposed to know he made a ticket if he doesn't quote you?
Oh that's how
It's been over ten hours now. When will it be restored
LISTEN today is Sunday that means it is a weekend. Virmach provides LIMITED support which is why you get your VMs at a good value.
You should NOT expect support over a weekend and unless you are paying for priority support you should NOT expect support within 10 hours. Why am I responding - Because I am included in your quote !!!
Get off your entitled high horse and start acting and using this forum properly.

Also, this is a different subject entirely than what I'd consider "support" or at least that's how it's going to be treated moving forward. I very specifically mean suspension appeals. I'll share some more information about it later when it's closer to being finalized, but there are some goals and all of this is very purposefully done at the moment. There's a reason he has not received a response yet.

Because it's kind of tangential to this subject, is it possible in the future that existing specials might be able to purchase the annual Premium Option upgrades that new purchases can?
Have a good workweek all,
I might be heading into the unknowns, with probably a last reminder to @virmach from my side-
the Hanukkah VPS, thrice reminded, otherwise, Forget the dealer special, yet to get the Ryzen 5GB upgrade. If that's not the priority, I understand, no worries.... have a good one !
(not a complaint, not intended to be one, hope its not treated as one)
Any tips on installing for 128MB RAM on VirMach servers? I tried a few ways via ISO/Netboot directly but all of them crashed/killed with OOM (Debian 9+, AlmaLinux 8+)

Debian might be able to run under that, but I would suggest creating the VM in another host node you have and then dd the whole disk to VirMach in rescue mode (if rescue mode doesn't work or whatever, try any netboot.xyz live environments)
That's how I did it with a 256MB KVM and Debian 11, but 128MB is quite rough.

You can run debian 10 on a VPS with 128M RAM by using the official debian cloud image.

Mentally strong people use Unix timestamp.
No hostname left!
At a certain point you need to start thinking in "seconds since the epoch".

It can take a few months. Don't worry.
What were you doing with the box when it got suspended?
Dirty things

Like ... how dirty?
Dirty unspeakable things, things you only dream of in the darkest dankest recesses of your soul

食之无味 弃之可惜 - Too arduous to relish, too wasteful to discard.

Those aren't OSs you should be running on 128MB.
You can run debian 10 on a VPS with 128M RAM by using the official debian cloud image.
Download from here: https://cloud.debian.org/images/cloud/buster/latest/
Add your own password to the image using virt-customize
virt-customize -a disk.raw --root-password password:yourpass
Compress and upload your image to your own server.
DD to your 128M RAM VPS and shutdown (using POWER OFF)
Login and use the VPS
Have the honor of being the crybaby who pays $20 for a 128MB VPS at VirMach in 2023.
