Anyone buy a San Jose flash deal and end up in Seattle (RYZE.SEA-Z010.VMS)? I thought Seattle went away...

Your VM is in San Jose. The node was shipped from Seattle months ago, but was not renamed after the location change.

Thank you sir. Is that node listed on status.virm.ac? Trying to figure out if my VPS being offline is a me problem or node.

    Cheers.

It is not listed as SEA-Z010 at status.virm.ac. Is there a different node name when you hover over the "Node" symbol in the billing panel ?

Regarding your VM being off line, have you tried reinstalling ?
The only node that shows offline in San Jose is SJCZ020. Maybe this is your node, maybe not.
If so, VirMach is aware of it and the eta is 12 to 24 hours for an update on this hardware failure.

Yeah no luck getting the page to load so I assume that's the one (timing out). Thank you!

Could be just being reconfigured, or paused temporarily while VirMach deals with other issues.
I would expect an announcement of some kind from VirMach when the sale is really over.

Yep, if it is not loading the billing panel page for your VM it's probably the node and not just you.

Does the friendly name actually show up anywhere for anyone outside of the full control panel?

It's from an improvement I made to the code. It has improved by not generating any new plans.

As a coding expert, wouldn't you use ACME to automatically renew your certificates?

Oh it was just a lock I put in place while I was changing some code. VirBot has been unchained. It's good to know the lock does work.

I'd change "Switching Soon" to "Switching Soon™" but it feels less comfortable making that joke on a business website and I don't feel like submitting a trademark application that'll get rejected over and over to utilize that properly.

Fine I'll bring back the code that detects something wrong so people know it's not switching soon and also not ended.

    VirTokyo is temporary Tokyo.
181 days later, they get moved to Los Angeles in batches, so that new VirTokyoes can be sold next year.

Usually it's one of the following:

    • A flash dealz was posted and you missed it.
    • A drama has occurred, such as a provider deadpool.
    • The thread contains double bandwidth or giveaway spam.

Okay I think I finally fixed the problem where it was heavily leaning Tokyo.

Working on timer next. Doesn't mean I'm not working on several other more important things though, so it could be changed today, tomorrow, next black friday, whenever.
