We are investigating an unexpected outage with SEAZ001.
There is a SEAZ001 ?
Answering my own question. I expect that SEAZ001 and SEAZ002 are nodes that were moved from Seattle to San Jose, but still carry the Seattle node designation in the panel. I have a VM on what shows as SEAZ002, but it is in San Jose, CA.
I am currently traveling in mostly remote areas until sometime in April 2024. Consequently DM's sent to me will go unanswered during this time.

I've confirmed it via doing tracepath from RackNerd Seattle to RYZE.SEA-Z002.VMS.
Now, ping rtt avg from RackNerd Seattle to VirMach "Seattle" is 21.829ms.
So I am here wondering ....
Did VirMach go on vacation, which I doubt, has he developed a health issue, or has he decided that LES is more problems than we are worth. aka, this is not fun anymore, FTS.
Also wondering if @tulipyun will sell me his non working DALZ007 4 core, 4 GB RAM, 135 GB NVMe $20/yr VM instead of canceling it.

That powerful vps doesn't belong to me
I only have a tiny VPS at DALZ007 and so far it has not grown.
But it's an honor to witness Virmach making new history every day.
Have the honor of being the crybaby who pays $20 for a 128MB VPS at VirMach in 2023.

I just noticed that I have an invoice for two separate orders which expire on the same day merged. Is this something new?
I understand that from billing point of view (paypal fees for $6.94 /yr services) but see it a bit problematic because if FFME004 doesn't come back online by the service expiration time (in some week or so) I plan to cancel this one but as it seems it's stuck with my other AMS vps.

This is normal. If the VMs expire on the same day you get one invoice. Canceling the VM that is down before the 30 day invoice window is what I normally do, then if it comes back up within the next 27 days, I remove the cancellation.

It's the first time that I experienced a merged invoice for renewal. I am wondering what happens if I cancel one vps.
I will think about what to do. Canceling both or simply paying for both. It's not a lot of money involved but it feels kinda stupid to pay for something thats down long-term.

Everyone watching last years virbot specials disappear off their accounts?
The 2022 Christmas/New Years VirBot specials were pretty darn good. I bought 10 of them, and I am only cancelling two. One because it is dead, and one other because with the moves I ended up with too many in a location. I did get rid of a few old 2018/2019 BF VMs earlier because the 2022 Christmas deals were better. Overall I still have 18 VMs with VirMach, which is four more than I had last year.

I don't expect there is time left to do that for these particular ones, but I could let you have one in San Jose that expires Jan 2nd 2025. 1 core 3900X, 1.4 GB RAM, 20 GB NVMe, 2 TB transfer, renews at $6.94/yr. It has been a good one. I'd let you have it for the $6.94 + $3 transfer fee via PP F&F. Let me know if you are interested.

I had a couple hundred dollars worth --- now going down to a single VM because I don't want to risk being locked into dead servers with no support. It was good while it lasted!

Obviously people should do what they think is best for their own circumstance. Given some of the uncertainty over the repair time of some nodes these last couple of months, it is understandable you might want to move on. Personally I am going to ride this wave all the way to the beach. After nine years of VirMach service I am so far ahead that going through a bit of rough water has been no problem for me. Most of my VMs have not had any issues, other than IP/location changes, which was mostly understandable given the DediPath deadpool.
Although I have no inside information to support this, in the back of my mind I can't help but think this is a shakeout of weak hands. A way to get rid of the people that cause most of the tickets, so the recouped inventory can be sold at higher prices to pay for the increased cost of doing business and valid support. I expect that VirMach has realized that trying to give Low Ender's no profit pricing under the condition of limited support does not work as people will still expect support no matter the price they have paid for the service. I'm thinking VirMach will make some adjustments and come back better. As always time will tell.
Here's to hoping everybody gets what they are looking for out of life in the New Year.

So, CA for this one, yet different online visual traceroutes, bounce via Finland/Europe (after USA transit!) - "go figure", as they say.

Wait ... did FFME004 come back for a few minutes after a 10-day outage just to die again?
Update: my other self hosted monitors (who monitor service uptime) did not spot server coming back, just uptimerobot (ping check) did

i think he has mistakenly used thano's gauntlet in his office, could be fighting Kang now as we speak.
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
IPv6 on Tokyo Chicken not working, packet loss every few minutes.
Merry Christmas @VirMach!
Can't wait to see what you've been cooking for us the last few weeks!
Absolutely Nothing.
Merry Christmas VirMach

Yeah, multiple services on one invoice is normal, had it for years. Kinda meh, but I guess this is how WHCMS is working.
Haven't bought a single service in VirMach Great Ryzen 2022 - 2023 Flash Sale.

If you cancel one the invoice is automatically updated to remove it.
That's cool then.
Merry Christmas 🎁🎄 bus gang and Merry Christmas to @VirMach - let the next year will be less eventful that this one.

I will confirm that WHMCS will do this if 1 ore more serves expire on the same day.
