Hello again, LES!

I know I’ve already shared some details about this, but consider this the official announcement.

I’m thrilled to announce that MakeMyKB, a project I originally launched back in 2018, is officially back! After two years under Chris’s stewardship, I’m taking the helm once again. A huge thank you to Chris for keeping the domain alive and ensuring the project files remained accessible during this time—I truly appreciate it.

As many of you know, MakeMyKB has had its fair share of stops and starts over the years. Life gets in the way, and when a project is free, it’s not always easy to prioritise it—which is fair. To ensure sustainability this time around, I'll be introducing a financial incentive. MakeMyKB remains free for up to 100 articles, but anything beyond that will be available for a small fee.

I’ve been focusing on the Lite plan for now, so no major updates on Pro just yet.

Since 2018, a lot has changed and software such as cPanel and DirectAdmin have evolved significantly, not just in appearance but in functionality too. As a result, this is a complete rewrite to ensure everything is up to date.

With this update, I've focused on streamlining the content creation process, fixing existing formatting issues, and introducing fresh visuals.

What’s New in Version 2.1.0?

This release includes a series of improvements across the board. Here are the highlights:

• Image Updates: A variety of new images have been added to article categories, offering enhanced visual support.
• Improved Image Quality: Some buttons now have full-size screenshots, with arrows clearly pointing to the respective buttons.
• Consistency and Formatting Fixes: We’ve addressed and fixed multiple formatting inconsistencies across categories.
• Content Enhancements: Various pieces of content have been added or corrected for better accuracy and completeness.
• Error Removal: We’ve eliminated any lingering errors, making the overall experience more polished.
