Hurricane Milton Service Notice
Hey there,
Aquatis, alongside our upstream datacenter provider, has been closely monitoring the path and potential impact of Hurricane Milton in the Tampa area, where one of the facilities we use for our products is located. The datacenter has activated its emergency action plan to ensure uninterrupted service. This includes maintaining power via generators if necessary and keeping staff onsite throughout the storm.
Work orders/remote hands for our dedicated server products may be delayed. The site intends to operate business as usual for the next 24-48 hours.
Our Tampa VPS products will have increased backup schedules from 24 hours to every 6 hours for the following 2 days. In case of an outage, backups are still being uploaded offsite from our Tampa location to our backup server located in Germany. We do not anticipate any disruptions to our power or network during the hurricane. However, we strongly advise that all clients do take backups of their data as a precaution in the event of a critical outage were to occur.
Note: Dedicated Server/Minecraft clients must backup their own data.
We appreciate your understanding and will continue to provide updates as the hurricane continues to pass on.
