Anyone configured 6rd on Linux?

In a perfect world, everyone should be using native IPv6 by now.

But, my new-shitty-fiber ISP uses 6rd to deploy IPv6 to their end customers still.

I tried the tutorials I can find online, made sure I allowed sit (6rd is a form of sit) in my firewall, but still ended up with this cryptic error message:

6rd: ioctl 89f9 failed: Invalid argument

Have any of you had any luck configuring 6rd?

Unfortunately my shitty-non-fiber ISP doesn't actually have IPv6 yet. >:(

  • Are you static? I would probably just sign up for tunnel broker and get a subnet vended from hurricane.

Guess this will be the only redemption.

Fortunately my shitty-fiber ISP [Orange] allows you to turn off IPv6 in PPPoE login :-)

Not really. I kinda give up at this point.
