If you're just connecting to it via a secure method - wireguard/ssh etc - then there is no real need to worry about "leaking" your IP. Pretty just anything and everything you do on the internet "leak…

My little SBC cluster is online. :)

128gb across 7 nodes. More of a toy than anything else but should be able to do most selfhosting tasks. Fanless, 2.5gbe, all optane.

For a desktop build I'd just use Amazon tbh & crosscheck it against other sources to ensure price is reasonable. In particular using a tool like camelcamelcamel to check price history

There are a bunch of solutions around the N100

...many of them fanless. Though beware you won't get full nvme speed on them. So might make more sense to go sata
