Is it possible for @VirMach to offer a one-time migration service within the US for users who were migrated by the dedipath incident?
-
After seven months, DALZ007 did come back online. Changed IP, no notification, need to go to control panel to check. It may also be necessary to change the configuration in /etc/network/interfaces. The data was preserved, (for me) network latenc…

Thanks VirMach, my VPS on TYOC007 is back online and it's the fastest fix this year!
-
It looks like one of my VPSes on TYOC007 has gone offline with an unknown issue that has recurred several times since VirMach went to Tokyo for maintenance, ranging from a few days to a dozen days offline at a time, yet strangely enough another VPS …

(Quote) None of my vps's on tyoc007 would open the control panel either, and more unfortunately one of them actually went offline.

(Quote) How dare you think Trustworthy Hosting Provider since 2001 didn't know to add a swap to geekbench! B)
-
Very professional no gb score report.
-
Incredible 403 Forbidden. Also, since I can't open your site, can you describe why a Trustworthy Hosting Provider since 2001 is using a domain name registered in 2023?
-
(Quote) People stay with virmach because virmach offers some great products with 99.99%+ usability at low prices. But they also randomly select some lucky users to enjoy products with 0% usability.
-
I don't know why I can't open the control panel on some of the VPS's I have running fine.
-
Virmach quietly fixed the problem on TYOC007. :)
-
(Quote) I have two VPS in that node and one of them is offline
-
Half of my VPS at TYOC007 is offline, anyone else experiencing the same thing? @VirMach when are you coming back?
-
It looks like virmach hasn't logged in since the 17th of March, is he still enjoying himself in Amsterdam? :)
-
If sharing a VPS saves you €50, does that mean you're paying €100 a year for a VPS? I think spending 100 euros for a VPS is really quite a lot, and it's not about being poor at all, it's about doing it the wrong way. I don't know what your main us…

Does @VirMach have any new information to offer about DALZ007? Will it be back online as soon as DALZ004 or will it take longer? Thanks.
-
According to the server status page, VirMach successfully resolved all issues except DALZ004, DALZ007 and LAX2Z019. Can @VirMach make a great schedule for DALZ004, DALZ007 and LAX2Z019 again? Thanks! :)

(Quote) Hi Jab, your rss notification software looks great, can you tell me what it's called? thanks :)
-
My VPS on TYOC007 is back online and the control panel is still locked. It does look like Virmach did do something.
-
First of all thank you for the opportunity to try it for free. Tried the NordicVM Free Trial VPS, which is actually different from what is shown on the configuration page: there is no ipv6 address provided, the bandwidth is 800M instead of 1G, and …

It would be nice if you put 256M RAM in the title as well so we don't have to waste time clicking through to this thread. :)
-
@VirMach One of my VPS on TYOC007 went offline again about ten hours ago (the same one that went offline last time), while the other one on the same node is still running, and the control panels of both VPSes are inaccessible, returning the error &q…

Looks like some of the nodes in Tokyo are still locked.

@VirMach Is maintenance over in Tokyo? One of my VPS's on TYOC007 went offline a couple hours ago while the other is working fine, but since the node is under maintenance and locked down, I can't get to the control panel and I don't know what's goi…

Update January 25th, 8:45AM JST (Scheduled 10AM to 6PM.) We are awaiting a delivery for TYOC002S and will proceed with a second powerdown and reboot once the required part (CPU heatsink) arrives. All servers will briefly lose connectivity once part…

It seems that the trumpet of victory is heard.
-
@VirMach Is Tokyo about to fall? Do you remember Dallas?
-
@VirMach is really back. Can you tell us anything about DALZ004 and DALZ007? Thanks.
-
(Quote) I don't have PayPal, so it's not easy to collect money. If VirMach is willing to support a transfer fee paid by the buyer, I'd be free to transfer it to someone who needs it.
-
(Quote) My guess is that he is not willing to either renew or transfer the service and terminate it at the end of the term. I've canceled some services as well, but it's still too much of a hassle to transfer them, so let them terminate.
-
DALZ004 and DALZ007 have been offline for 120 days, and it has been 47 days since the last update about them on the Server Status page. VirMach excluded some users from the redeployment list 88 days ago and still no solution has been proposed. Vir…

THOR VIRMACH WILL RETURN ?

(Quote) > Have the honor of being the crybaby who pays $20 for a 128MB VPS at VirMach in 2023.> (Quote) I am actually canceling or have canceled multiple services at Virmach, but that doesn't conflict with my desire to restore a VPS that is …

(Quote) Okay, thanks for the answer. I'm sorry if I have offended you and I apologize for that. I'd like to explain a little bit about this, without your later additions, I really don't see how your response and how it resolves the four month long …

(Quote) Yes, I don't understand why you're asking such a question, and as a moderator you're perfectly capable of explaining it head on, rather than implying/accusing me that I think you're doing something nefarious. I never said anything like that.
-
I've found that their trick is to never want to answer a question head on, they'll find something completely unrelated and pretend to answer it. I don't see how going after specs and costs helps at all, but it leads the original thread in a pointles…
-
(Quote) The point is what Virmach should have done, not accusations of what I should have done. Obviously I can't go cross-country and sue him for a few dollars, but that doesn't mean he's right to do it
-
@VirMach After months of being offline, even if you can't come up with a solution right now, you should extend the term for services that are currently unavailable instead of sending out a new invoice.
