I run Pi-Hole at home and with the local DNS built into Pi-Hole I use *.svp for all my local machines, and *.ts for servers connected through tailscale.

I run Wirehole on a VM from Inception Hosting and it's awesome. Wirehole is Wireguard, Pihole and Unbound. No need to open 53 to the world, the resolver is only available in the VPN

Jumping on the MXRoute bandwagon. Had a plan there for a couple years that I let go to host my own, and went whimpering back to @jarland with my tail between my legs last month and renewed my plan. Excellent product, hands down the best email host.
