Hey, man Don't take everything as an insult, go spend some time outside or with your family, don't obsess over arguing online :)

All it seems to me is like a CloudFlare alternative with cheaper pricing and more difficulty setting up... also only 35 PoPs. Can someone remind me why to switch to bunny and pay money? Other than the argument that CF is an evil company (which I sl…

If you look at the value generation though, even at the highest tier, the new WHMCS is only like $1k/month. Hiring a dev costs many multiples of that, so I guess this highlights the value generation created by WHMCS. Even for something like Blesta, …

I think the main concern should be that there might be a second price hike like cPanel...

Who is this developer? Why ISPConfig when everyone is using direct admin?

(Quote) Can you include an invite? But in general, having to have a team wait up and halt development on new software until stock frees up, even if it's just a few hours, is just a huge PITA. I'm hesitant to host anything that might scale on BuyVM …
-
@Francisco kinda unrelated from the thread, but all services are sold out right now. You compare BuyVM to AWS/DO, but if I can't be sure I can get more VMs when I need to, I can't really "trust" BuyVM as my cloud provider... Are you doin…

(Quote) It's called Ethereum, and it's only for idle mining when others aren't renting the machines :) Mining is an inherently low margin business (lower electric + cheaper labor wins), and I wanna be a billionaire, so ML/rendering is the priority …

So AMD and NVIDIA both have chip shortages (TSMC I assume, while Intel has their own fabs), I have a pallet that's two quarters late.

@cociu In your email, you state the maximum deposit is 3,000 euros, yet there seems to be a 1,500 euro limit: (Quote)

This is really interesting: https://www.netlify.com/blog/2019/05/16/wayfx-deploys-lightning-fast-headless-wordpress-to-netlify You can pipe Wordpress into a static site and host on Netlify/CF pages

(Quote) This has been a feature request for literally years now because of: (Quote) Next: (Quote) Again, same thing. I don't imagine most devs have worked at a hosting company before, they don't really know I think.

One other possibility, Hugo. You can use a theme, or create your own (I can help), and you use it to generate a static site. Serve using CloudFlare pages, and it'll be fast everywhere without a single PHP server handling all WP requests. Not to men…

(Quote) Yeap, the nature of all of this is that migrations are super easy, so those deploy to Netlify buttons all over Github, forms, proprietary workers, etc are designed to ground you down in Netlfiy, and I'm sure CF will do the same

(Quote) Interesting, I clicked on it a few weeks ago and could only add my email to the waitlist after an application :) (Quote) Everything is about ease of use. With smth like Hugo (that's what I'm using here, a site that I built these past two da…

(Quote) Yeap, seems like quite a few ppl work for Inmotion Hosting, that wouldn't happen w/o reasonable compensation lol

CloudFlare pages seems to build very slowly, each of my builds has at least 2 mins of waiting to "Initializing Build Environment." Netlify is 16 seconds on the other hand :)

@ehab Based on your picture, I think you have issues too (this is a joke, apologies for my crude sense of humor, if you find this offensive I'm v sorry)

(Quote) That's insane haha. Appaz we have already have like 25 applicants, 5 of whom are over qualified, so at least I hope that won't happen here :)

(Quote) hahahha, if we count the price I'm paying at DCs, I'm at like $0.25/kWh. Was seriously considering renting a warehouse, running a Cogent line and cutting my cost to $0.12/kWh but the main challenge is finding GPUs right now. Btw -- mining i…
