(Quote) Docker, we are tried little, then putting them into swarm/kubernetes, build script also new for us, more automation expertise needed, too big for our small brains. Docker is the destination, however we picked LXD along the journey as it is g…

(Quote) Isn't Virtualbox works with GUI based Systems, a ton of manual work on networking and clustering on host and vm node, it also heavy compared to LXD. VirtualBox doesn't do cross host networking out of box, IMHO.

Overall we made a good progress with LXD, more than we understand the lxd, this tool https://github.com/AdaptiveScale/lxdui well manage containers, images, network, port forwarding and including support to clusters. Tried setting up 3 host servers,…

(Quote) Thanks for this, I will write you in details, more of long term association would help.

(Quote) Will try ansible, initially i thought it was docker tool. From the examples, it can install and change and save the configuration, that is what we needed. The other issue is, we need clusters at least 3 to 5 to 7 instances. All new stuffs. …

(Quote) Thank you, vagrant, just checked, they provide abstraction over container? , we yet to understand the containers itself, neither me or my team could learn to manage now. @Not_Oles Sorry for tagging, You are an inspiration for me to look t…

(Quote) We yet to learn docker at pro level as we use tons of tools, open sources tough for us to manage. yum and apt commands works easy for us. Docker takes a long route. We bounce back with docker and kubernetes as we don't have dev ops person.…

(Quote) Is that price include VAT? Do you remove VAT for outside EU business account? We have requierments for testbed. What is the contract period?

(Quote) I had account with them, they needed idlers on RAM and CPUs. Not so suitable for our work. Today we are raising another rounds of fund to secure for 1 year netcup or Hetzner dedi on monthly.
-
(Quote) We are working on funding, that seems more viable option at this moment. They had offer from various players especially on lower scale like 8/16 GB, Data size grown since then. Hetzner dedi cluster would be option, meanwhile just pushing so…

@ehab @Hxxx I am checking Hetzner dedi SB option.

(Quote) Well, we supply software modules, the customer [a professor] use it for environment monitoring, he had setup sensors across multiple cities, we pass through hosting bill to him. no money for us, but we use this as test bed for analytics and…

(Quote) Actually it is cluster, as per our understanding, it goes about 30 to 36 GB for sure minimum x 3 machines, running the same code, but partitioned data between machines. Other viable option is to move out of cluster, run on one VPS to keep…

@seriesn 50$ to 60$ in total, (Image) This is for an IOT, Environment monitoring specific project. Had impacted by backers. Attached what we pay to netcup [part amount], now we downsize them..

I like @AnthonySmith view, buy a reseller plan from a good host, sell as your own, if you make profit and love what you doing then you can really think of starting a business. If that doesn't work, transfer customers to host, move on.
-
@RapToN Is VAT included in price, do you remove VAT for customers from outside EU?
