(Quote) same node, same issue :)

as I cannot edit the above, the gateway and netmask is correct. had to manually configure an on-link in netplan, and a custom initramfs script to run before dropbear to configure the network to work with this configuration, but all is fixed for now.

(Quote) best off using a email provider for your sending, automatic retries, sending reports, I use AWS for my small site and it costs me like $0.15-0.20 a month

two IP changes in a matter of a week. no email notification about either edit: new IP given on panel, subnet of 255.255.255.255 and gateway of 192.168.0.1 >.> still no dhcp assignment. no announcement on their panel. no emails.

(Quote) sorry, I seen this notice, and figured it was just bandwidth issues, and skipped the part for the change of IP, as there is no DHCP assignment it means having to reconfigure the system completely, but I have got it working again now as I hav…

ATLZ009 is back :)

(Quote) I have a VPS on ATLZ006 and ATLZ009, 9 is unreachable from the outside, 6 is reachable, and it can also connect to 9 from 6. so it seems they have been null routed for sure, I wonder who downloaded a 10GB iso file at speeds greater than 100m…

the only way you'll be able to have an incoming port while on CG-NAT is to use a VPN that allows for forwarding, or setup your own VPN on a VPS and have them forwarded only without outgoing NAT (Oracle Cloud Free-tier more than enough)

(Quote) mine was included in the activation, thank you for your time :)

he wants $1 or $2 a year deals, just give him one without any ip, not even nat.
-
@taopi it is so nice that you have worked out how to use the edit button.

(Quote) check out https://purelymail.com using their advanced plan, I am paying like $0.60 per month using 3GB storage for my incoming email on my own domain. I use a virmach vps for aliasing with AnonAddy self-hosted, forwarding to my purelymail a…

sounds more like adding an additional support option for your vps is you run a website on it. if you start getting DMCA reports, they will block the web ports
-
rule of thumb, any vps is a shared cpu with fair share allocation, you are best off reading their AUP's etc to see if they have limitations on usage. if you want dedicated cpu cores, you will need to pay the premium to get the dedicated core, a lot…

(Quote) if you have access to a kvm vnc, you could write netboot.xyz to the hdd and reboot it, then use that to install 22.04 directly without upgrades, if it is the LXC one, SOL :(

love that first deal, reseller with only a single domain option. sign me up!

All my services are just popping back online :)

so, if I am reading the service status page correctly, the payment issue or what ever with Alibaba has been resolved and the subnet is getting reassigned and it will just take time? if so, I have a lot of that and thank you for the updates :)

while I did not use the service as I have native ipv6 at home, it is such a shame that a really good thing has to be shutdown because of arseholes abusing the system and staff :(

(Quote) If you paid for the invoice, it is legally your invoice and cannot be removed from your account due to accounting issues.

:( one of the IP addresses of a flash sale service was removed, the other 2 services with 2 IP's are alright :( only noticed because it was the main IP I was using on the service
