(Quote) Of course it went down. It's late night in Italy. You can't expect servers to stay switched on overnight.

(Quote) Not to mention that we live on a planet named Terra.

(Quote) I don't understand what you want explained. * Between Inceptionhosting DE and Hetzner FI, the latency is 20ms. * Between Inceptionhosting DE and HostHatch SE, the latency is 18ms. * Between HostHatch SE and Hetzner FI, the latency is around…

Most likely in Germany from the beginning. They mentioned that they just add a Hetzner server to their cluster and the magic is done. So maybe the .se VPSes weren’t even with Hetzner FI, but just the same old Hetzner DE.

(Quote) O, fu... it's AMSD035 and not AMSD028. I have no idea when they migrated my VPS from 028 to 035. In my notes is still 028. (Quote) It’s just standard Virmach modus operandi with an unspecified ending. It can take days, it can take months. A…

(Quote) Node AMSD028 or AMSD035? It seems like both have issues, although someone yesterday said that his AMSD028 VPS is up.

(Quote) Close this, it's broken, and push the 'Emergency & Priority Support' button. Ticket will go into the 'priority queue,' also known as the 'ignored permanently' queue.

(Quote) Don't be too hard on him. Once he reused the 'core router issue' and 'core router replacement' excuses for the 15th time in 2023, it had to be power next. So now we're on standard power issues in 2024. Let's wait to see what will replace the…

Is AMSD028 down for everyone or just for me? I can't open the control panel ("We cannot load the controls for your service at this time"). (Quote)

Ugh! I will be honest with you. I have some good friends from a certain nation, but for me, it's very hard to discuss these things with those same people (I generalize now, but still...), and please don't take this as an offense. To me, it looks so…

(Quote) Is this all you got from my text? And yes, it's easier to travel through Europe than ever. I visit 5-6 different countries yearly and I don't even have a passport anymore because it's an unnecessary expense. And although the present isn't p…

I see a problem if those warnings from the community about the service vanish from the offer thread, as they are directly connected to the sales made over that forum. But it's not like this is the first time I'm saying it, so... whatever.

(Quote) That's debatable. For some reason, when I'm in their "launchpad" (dashboard), I always need to do extra searching to find my list of domains in their wannabe-modern, utterly shitty interface. At some point, I may remember that I n…

(Quote) $7? Ugh... what a question. There are several hundred, if not thousands, of TLDs, with pricing constantly changing, so it doesn't make sense to try to answer that. Just check their price list, renewal price, and transfer price at the time …

Nowadays, I almost don't use my "traditional" domain registrars anymore (Dynadot, Name, Namecheap...) unless I get a good deal on a domain with Namecheap. I mostly use low-cost options like Saw, Regery, and Cosmotown simply because of the…

Or at least Czechoslovakia.

(Quote) Excellent, @aRNoLD, excellent. That's the only thing that has bothered me for years. What version of Debian does Arnold run? Now that I know, I can die peacefully. Not so soon!

(Quote) My ex-coworker from Serbia (great guy, we always poked fun at each other) said the same, but then I reminded him where the biggest Pride parade in this part of Europe is... and he, a bit confused and not knowing what to say, remained silent …

(Quote) Bbbut... Georgians aren't Slavs at all :P Never mind, you have a chance to cheer right this moment for proper Slavs.

Can you imagine summoning the whole family to a self-hosted ssl IRC server, chatting on the #family channel, and using XDCC for files transfers? It would be absolutely fabulous.

(Quote) Well, everyone is free to check its content, so it's no more dangerous or safe than any other script (bench, etc) we run. Just open url.

(Quote) LES is a small forum - that's not an opinion but a fact. There aren't enough voters (the average is what, 30 votes per poll?) to provide realistic statistics, as it would take only around 5-10 accounts to manipulate every poll if someone wan…
