Please no....

Think the only way to commit actual theft of copyrighted, is to find a patent/copyrighted work and refile it as your own with little to no changes.
-
I've had good experience with sshfs for mounting remote storage.

(Quote) Kinda tempted tbh to claim I had 10 racks with them and see how many different reps time I can waste at once on a non existent service... Vultures like quadranet just annoy me...
-
Been trying to get my equipment out of their for 1 month now and they keep putting my ticket on hold.... Suspect they are reselling client hardware at this point...
-
Only made it to 705...aparently I'm terrible

Out will well turn this.

LevelOneServers.com 2023!
-
Honestly for what we paid as long as it's 80% uptime even I'm happy.
-
Working, thanks much. Have limited to 4MB to be safe.
-
Server felt great for me initially and now seems to be capped at 500kb down which kinda sucks...
-
Considering, but wanted to know if there was an option to expand storage ie say I bought salamander hybrid and needed another tb or 2 of storage?

Would recommend data ideas to just Rent a rasbery pi. Gpu encoding usually faster than cpu and you won't find a cheaper option.
-
I mean, alternatively could just boot the os off a thumb drive and software raid just fine from within windows.
-
Yup would work in software no issues. M.2 uses pcie anyways. If you look at the adapter itself and the traces you will see it's fairly barbones just wires to the slot, no logic.
-
I use socks 5 from pia and qbittorent. Mostly works but is occasionally kinda bugy. Would reccomend avoiding this route though, gets annoying.
-
Should just refund after deleting data like that...

No pity for the people who lost their money. They invested with a poorly dressed kid probably under illusions of unrealistic returns instead of just going to a bank/Accredited institution for an average return. Their greed did them in and now they s…

Feel like while you have a great deal its difficult to resell as your not a provider, brand new account and we got no clue if server would be terminated unexpectedly. Main thing about basically backup storage is you gotta know it's gonna be there wh…

I'd say stop using raid 0 and save yourself a headache at a later date? Any profit you could potentially get would be negligable in my opinion for the hassle.
-
Might be interesting but would want to see an insurance option. Ie pay 2$more and if plan disappears in 2y or whatever get a guaranteed payout.
-
Given you don't want to become a host I'd probably reccomend not selling this as a vps and just selling straight storage. Easier to manage and you won't have to eventually deal with the headache of who did what download of kiddie porn or other quest…

Might make sense to be ipv6 only/nat ipv4 as its only meant to be backup storage. Cutting that cost would allow more users.
-
Definitely interested in about 6tb ish raid 6 (or raid z1/2 preferably) . Lmk final pricing if you proceed.
-
Honestly feels to expensive for no iv4. Would need to be like 2eu/tb/month max. Maybe go for a raid z1 array to cut costs a bit?
-
Is say pricing should be based on offerings. Don't think anyone really buys based on minimum price but moreso recources/$. Maybe have like storage offer have to beat x$/tb kinda thing
-
i like storage stuff but tbh in this case i feel like maybe i missing where the value is? I guess kinda the main concern here is why would I pay 10x the rate of something like a hetzner storage box (3.45eu 1tb) for the same sftp access with known r…
