(Quote) I purchased two of these recently and they are both already in use. It's that 300GB NVMe with 4 IPv4 in Chicago and the monster in Amsterdam that is just sitting idle right now. I guess if I'm not idling something it would just mean I need…

Is it just me that really like these 2 IP VMs for under $10. Jump boxes, VPNs, mesh connections to other VMs in the area that run multiple services, just so many uses. (Quote)

(Quote) There is an open Complaint thread in the general category. If you prefer I can merge this into that thread so it is not in "Rants".

This is member's first post to LES and has been moved to the "Rants" section as OP admits to having multiple accounts in violation of VirMach TOS and not responding to email notifications prior to the migration. OP was also offered refund …

(Quote) Storage servers are RAID 10, but I don't think the Specials are. I have been know to dispel misinformation at times. If this is the case I expect VirMach will provide a correction.

(Quote) Well if you asked me, I would tell you no, but I understand you're asking VirMach so I'll stay out of it.

(Quote) I agree that with some modifications it will run. I have a 222MB VirMach VM that runs fine. Debian has a how to reduce the memory footprint outline here for anyone that bought one of those tiny VMs My fav is (Quote)

(Quote) Yak ranch ? My Daddy always told me "Buy land son, because they ain't make no more of it." Daddy understood demographics. Right now I'm selling more than buying property in the US. I'm waiting for the economy to crash and inter…

(Quote) Funny, I looked up a 40 acre piece on land I own close to that area the other day. I paid $8,000 for in 1985. Comparable properties are selling for $320,000. Needless to say I was surprised. Chinese drywall. I am glad we build with conc…

@VirMach it's getting pretty crazy here. 25% devaluation of the peso since July. Diesel is ~$6 a gallon. The American Democrats are moving here in droves to get away from a Trump America. Good news is that my house is worth twice as much as last …

(Quote) Me ether. If you play the game often enough those things will happen. You win some you lose some. hopefully you win more than you lose. The only way to avoid messing up or missing out is to never play, and what fun is that.

(Quote) I remember you said that you didn't take the /16 because they wanted all your customer data for justification and you were not going to do that. Sometimes doing the right thing bites you in the ass, because life isn't fair. Don't feel bad…

I really liked XVMLabs. I had many of their plans that I bought back in 2014 $2.99 a year for 4 IPv4 $9.79 a year for 7 IPv4 Shame that went by the wayside in 2018. I expect Dan might have sold all those IP blocks and probably had enough to retire.

(Quote) and there you go

(Quote) If that was #1266 I did think about it, but then I remembered I had 640GB NVMe on my Amsterdam with 6 IPv4 so I could not pull the trigger.
