@tenpera - Posting the same please help ticket #123 comment in both the VirMach offer thread and this thread is spamming.
If you insist on posting a ticket number thinking that it will help to jump you up in the support queue, posting it just in this thread is the way to go.

Customers: don't spam the offer threads. Use them to post questions related to the offer(s)

EDIT: Gif and rule added for clarity.

Just like what VirBot does when the customer doesn't pay $15 priority support fee.

Miami emails going out. They're going to be moved to Atlanta. You can contact us to stay in Miami Beach Club (on a potentially sinking yacht if you accept the risks.) We're still keeping the Miami location. We're just doing this so we have one less location to worry about after recent events related to QN and we'll re-evaluate after the dust settles.

Sure, I'll honor this if a ticket is created requesting it before we process the migrations to Atlanta.

  • @FrankZ I believe you have a VM at all locs with VirMach. How does the Flexential ATL network look like compared to EWR SJC?

I've really only been in Atlanta for a few months, but currently have three VMs in Atlanta as my Miami was moved there recently. @Kris sold me on the location and so far I have not been disappointed with the network. Uptime has been perfect in Atlanta and there have been no other issues. Only little downside may be is that tunnelbroker does not have a Atlanta location for IPv6. I've been using Ashburn,VA for IPv6 which has been much more stable than the Miami tunnelbroker location ever was so I'm happy.

I've been in San Jose for years and it is one of my favorite locations, mainly due to proximity to my location and network stability. IPv6 via tunnelbroker is good in this location as well.

IMO it is a toss up, as both are really good.

We're still keeping the Miami location. We're just doing this so we have one less location to worry about after recent events related to QN and we'll re-evaluate after the dust settles.

is there a possibility to migrate to San Jose instead?

Sure, I'll honor this if a ticket is created requesting it before we process the migrations to Atlanta.

    I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.

Yeah, really like Flexiental's house blend in ATL. Arelion / 1299, GTT, and Comcast - which gives a stable and low latency blend. Even Comcast gives a good amount of Tier 1 providers. Got 3 of the 'you're moving from Miami' emails, but don't mind.

Already on my 'to-do' list was add Atlanta to my UptimeKuma farm. Now looks like I'll just need to rename my CF tunnel and update the footers.

Hell, Atlanta blend is so stable, only have a handful of SmokePing instances, installed one there. It made it past the two months of being watched from other 'stable transit blends' with SmokePing and not having random issues, jitter or route changes.

  • @VirMach any updates on the status of NYCB021?
The node has been down for 3 days, with no updates, no email notifications, nothing.
I have two open tickets and the only thing I got is those useless AI answers.
If your AI vendor is telling you these trash answers helps "divert answers by getting your customers more relevant answers quicker", please drop them. It is not a great customer experience.

I opened one ticket, but it got split into two for some reason, each with an equally unhelpful AI-generated answer.

Does anyone know if IPv6 in Tokyo is working?

    It's working, just reconfigure networking.

    Hmm..

Unfortunately, we were unable to recover the data for your virtual server after the most recent outage, due to hardware issues related to a disk. We have regenerated the disk for your virtual server, but an operating system will have to be reinstalled before the service can be utilized.

    :p
    Hang, I didn't post that I had an issue - d'uh!

I don't have any inside info on this one. Maybe VirMan is just a bit behind schedule. I'd give it a day or two. I'd expect Virmach to say something if there was going to be a long delay.

P.S. I am assuming that you have double checked in various ways to insure that you are still in Miami.

No it's not! (Stupid time zone blinkered comment.)
    Complete disclosure:

It will likely be completed between 5AM and 10PM PST.

Of which some of us can do the math.
