Buyer's Remorse
What was in my head?! I have so many VPS I don't know what to do with them anymore. I should have been more cautious. I set myself this Black Friday to be careful. I was so careful I ended up with even more VPS in idling.
I am a shame. I am greedy. I am addicted to cheap offers. Please forgive me universe, because I can't forgive myself. Maybe I should donate some of them to a non-profit project, IRC network, Tor Relay or something - maybe there is still redemption for me.

List the ones you maybe don't want
I am always open to add new vps to my collection.
Seriously, but yes, many folks seem to share a similar sentiment. But very few actually are able to say it. Its the unfortunate truth 😔
Good luck. Maybe we can create a LeSbian addition support group 🤔
Maybe I should not transfer any... no... I must not... I must resist... even though I should be better than this... must resist...

Buy more. Procrastinate by thinking some mega super duper project with all those servers. Just buy more. Imagine that feeling when you complete transaction for that sweet sweet X or Z server... Endorfins rush throw your veins. You are a king of the world! BUY MORE.
You understand me so well. And yet can't stop wondering if something is not wrong in this mechanic of thinking. Maybe I am too emotional and my cognitive feature stops when good offers appear - getting focused on not losing the offer.

Haven't bought a single service in VirMach Great Ryzen 2022 - 2023 Flash Sale.

We have two projects that require multiple servers.
We can't buy more if the offers do not match the minimum requirements.
We operate AS200690 LowEndASN.
It requires BGP session and preferably access to IXP ports.
We operate ndn6 network.
It requires minimum 4GB RAM and /112 IPv6, and 25% persistent CPU usage.
No hostname left!
what remorse? i buy it for YABS.
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
Inefficient, use birb, birb with OSPF maybe 7% consistent usage.

The ndn6 network runs on Named Data Networking protocol, over UDP tunnels.
It is not an IP network so that OSPF does not apply.
I capped CPU usage at 25% although this only occurs when viewers are watching push-ups.
No hostname left!

So... how many VPS'es are you planning to get for Christmas Sale ?

Oh man, I can relate to this. Convinced myself that I should not buy anything this BF but ended up with 4 VPS, 1 storage, 2 mail services and 1 shared hosting.
We should start Idlers Anonymous and hand out badges for not buying another vps for three months and stuff like that.
If I was not buying a few too many LE VMs, I would be spending a lot more money on some other form of entertainment.
Just saying.

It’s a function of sticking Dollar bills on a person versus paying 7 dollar (or multiple of) invoices.
One is physical other is virtual entertainment…but both involve rather dark and noisy building, hot servers, and places where you can see and ofle maybe. but cannot touch in most cases.

The problem is that the idle ones aren't even monitored
There's a lot of packet loss on my nebula mesh network, by the way. I'll have to find a solution...maybe.
Woah! That's a great theme for @FAT32
Feeling a bit tired, let's call it a day.
The only way to win is not to play. You buy, look at your VM number count, say "it's good to have land."
Then 11.5 months later decide if that pie in the sky project you wanted will ever happen.
I still think I'm gonna have a bunch of Plex servers with old top gear, fawlty towers and favorite shows. In all reality, these will likely become UptimeKuma instances, SmokePing if I actually get a few hours, or just idle away.
Can always spin up a few Syncthing Relays to help. https://relays.syncthing.net/
If you want to idle more, even more expensive things, we have dedicated servers available.

Look at it this way: you are helping to reduce the average load on provider's systems. The more servers that you idle, the less impact a noisy neighbour has.

This means you're a real LESbian
I tried setup NAT64 in one of my VPS but failed.
I tried Tayga and Jool and Bind9. Bind9 is working correctly, because public can resolve DNS using my Bind9. It got the IPv6 address pointing to my /64 subnet. However any public internet node trying to access IPv6 website using my VPS will failed.
