Your experience with Reliablesite Dedicated servers?

edited November 2 in Help

Hi all,

We're considering getting some AMD Ryzen servers from Reliablesite. Could you kindly help out with your experience ordering from them?

I noticed they offer instant setup - is this true please? Is the setup done with ten minutes max and how would you rate their CS on a scale of being helpful?

PS:

Hopefully, no rules are being broken this time...!!

  • I don't remember needing technical support for a year.

Some providers here have servers from them.

Almost all good. I like RS shares great photos from time to time from the DC and the servers in the LES Discord.

I just don't like their click baits in here, but that's just a marketing tactic.

  • @Usijali Yes all the order are instant setup and mostly setup within 10 mins depending upon your OS, I needed support help only 2 times and they were quick and helpful both the times.

My experience with them was good, port speed are 1Gbps dedicated and even burstable as i was able to burst upto 3-5Gbps sometime.

Earlier they use to announce your subnet only but now they can announce your ASN also for free usually with other provider i need to pay one-time fees for announcing the subnet.

Currently Using Hetzner , OVH , Buyvm , Webhorizon , Hyonix , ConnectIndo

  • Support was prompt the one time I needed them, and my server was ready minutes after I ordered. I don't still have anything with them, I downsized and they didn't have cheap stock where I wanted it, but they're on the short list of providers I'd order from again.

Support is a hit or miss. Sometimes they're absolutely great, sometimes absolutely horrible and make you want to seppuku. As long as your hardware works, you'll probably never need to contact them. Just check temps under a stress test to make sure your CPU has adequate cooling. Servers are deployed instantly, but OS install can take time if it's a UEFI system, you may need to have a BIOS setting changed to get it to work if someone changed it.

  • Reliablesite generally delivers on its promise of instant setup for in-stock servers, often within 10–15 minutes, but custom setups may take longer. Their customer support is reliable, rated around 7–8/10 for helpfulness and responsiveness. RedSwitches, on the other hand, offers quick server deployment (though not always instant) and is praised for its personalized and solution-oriented support, typically rated around 8/10. If speed of setup is critical, Reliablesite may have the edge, but for hands-on customer service and flexibility, RedSwitches is a great choice. Both are solid options depending on your priorities.

  • Is Redswitch a provider here ? Any dealzzzz

  • I mean isn't that their promo thread lower down on this very same page? Just try search on sites like this for their name (or better for the @name of whoever the rep is).. that's where you see the real good stuff.

Redswitches divorced my wife and fed my dog some poison. Do not recommend.

See how that works for your SEO. Get out.

  • Hi @Usijali

Reliablesite is known for offering good value on dedicated servers, including their AMD Ryzen options. Many users have had positive experiences with their hardware performance, reliability, and network speed. Their instant setup is often true for standard orders, with servers typically being provisioned quickly—sometimes within minutes. However, this can depend on availability and specific configurations.

As for customer support, most reviews suggest that their team is responsive, but response times can vary depending on the issue and the time of day. On a scale of 1 to 10, their support could be rated around a 7 or 8, with room for improvement in certain areas.

If you're considering Redswitches as an alternative, they also offer high-performance servers with strong support and reliable setups. You might want to check their options if you're looking for a different experience.

  • Fuck. You again!

RedSwitches canceled all my servers after payment and stole my grandma false teeth.

On the other hand, Reliable Site offered a good service. Good connection to latam. I like their servers in Miami.
