  • Hi s_e_r_v_e_r,

    Welcome to LES!

Nice and fresh interface. Good luck implementing it, I'd like to give it a try!

  • Just got a few credit to give it a try, will do now :)

(a back button within the website would be appreciated btw)

Thats why we need testing :) Probably add that.

  • 1st testresult: a 'return' functionality inside the panel might be nice when server create xyz without balance. Now there is an error in red; browser-page-back functionality works of course, but takes away the 'console' feeling.

  • 2nd: refresh the create-account-result page creates a new account hash. No problem maybe, depending on how much resources an account takes on your system.

I'm a little curious, are you using template files sourced from LXD or Proxmox or some other platform?

  • 3rd: upon creating server and printing credentials: showing the key fingerprint would be nice, and/or uploading public key.

    /---server[SSH]---\

We recommend you change your password.

    SERVER : ssh-poland-x1.s-e-r-v-e-r.pw
    PORT : 34289
    USER : xrootx
    PWD : tt322u388oueounhh322uo321oaoue8
    ID : saAOaoscHwkeSHOchoCHekmMO

    \---server[SSH]---/

    What is ID here?

    nice idea, would try that.

Server ID, used for start, stop, restart etc...

Okay, thanks for your reply. I had wanted to maintain a repository of LXC templates myself, based on a platform that automatically adds some tools I need and then package them again, and there doesn't seem to be a similar case for me to learn from at the moment. Do you have any good advice?

  • 4th: I thought I only created 1 server, but status shows 2.

I got back to the main menu by pressing back in the browser; I think I passed the 'create server' page, which created a new hash for a new server.

Checking account balance confirms that: 2x 2.5 has been deducted, history shows two created servers.

  • 5th: "invoice" link leads to a payment portal, not to an invoice.

The timer starts anew everytime the link is clicked, not when backward/forward; also, the price is updated (up or down, sometimes equal) each time the link is clicked (not on backward/forward, as far as I noticed).

A server (oW7eDQvLGa-4JQUQuSqEAh4w8ZSQYum) that I didn't create spawned in, seems to be stuck as checking it's logs is constantly refreshing without having anything shown.
(The status page doesn't show this one btw)

There is no server with ID like that.
Yes its refreshing cause it stop only refreshing once it find status that the installation finished, this didnt happend as server does not exists. This need fix too.

  • 6th : there is no 'server destroy' command

7th : 'server stop' does not provide feedback:

    • 1st try: server stop id1 , wait a moment on panel page with 'server stop' in URL, browser back;
    • 2nd try: server stop id2, leave page at the URL with 'server stop' in it
    • check status in another browser tab: only server id2 is stopped, server id1 is still running
    Thanked by (1)s_e_r_v_e_r
  • 8th : 'server install debian serverid' (or reinstall) for an existing server rends an error

  • Going to https://panel.s-e-r-v-e-r.pw/status
does not show status of the created server

you need to click update, then refresh few time that /status
    probably need auto refresh too

Sorry, it was a rhetorical error. Rephrasing as a feature requests:

    • (How) Can a server be reinstalled? Can it be made possible?
    • (How) Can a service be cancelled without being at zero credit? Can it be made possible?

    ;-)

Keep up the good work, it's a fun platform to explore :-)

  • Every page doesn't seem to have a back to home button or a top menu bar similar to what exists on WHMCS, I have to click the browser's back button every time I need to go to another page, is this intentional?

reinstall could be made as delete server (non functional as of now) and create new one (idk for now how to make it with credits but will figure out)

the second one i dont think it will work like that, you create server with credits for one whole month, you can only renew (non functional)

9th : it could be nice if there is a (visible) relation between the support tickets account and a server account hash. Maybe it also works as is and is it not necessary.
