Just imagine how much faster everything would be -imagine all of the freed CPU time, RAM, and drive I/O calls, if you nutjobs stopped running YABS for just one day!

But then we wont know which server has what level of performance. How can we live without knowing where I am getting more geekbench scores per dollar?

@red said: Just curious, is there a reason why you never buy your VPS yearly?
For benchmark? Buying yearly is waste of money for me, as i only need 2-3 days to bench a VPS. But for production also i never bought yearly. The reason is solely because of performance. I don't know whether the machine will perform as good as i bought it on day one.

You're right, almost every yearly VPS I bought has decreased in performance over time (generally 1 month after buying it) . They do it on purpose I guess as you're stuck with them for at least one year.

Usually it is true, but with greencloud it has been the exact opposite for me.
I got a vps with them in October, GB5 was around 550. It has been steadily increasing, and right now I get 700. Network top notch as well, always able to burst to 10G.
