I'm waiting for Frankfurt to recover! I liked Frankfurt
With the DAL and other forced migrations, and not all the servers renaming to the new locations, I actually still have to check and figure out where some of my servers are :-/
Always figured that the locations that got terminated would get a free option to migrate to a location of choice at some stage, but didn't seem to ever happen with those.

Does Phoenix still exist as a location?

Phoenix still exists. I've got a ( fully functional ) server there.
Sometime within the past year, gmail started marking tickets@virmach.com as spam and I didn't get the migration notification e-mail at all. I only noticed it today as the "oh, it's offline on Hetrix" turned into "oh, it's been offline for a while now, what gives?".
After checking the client panel, my Tokyo VPS had been transferred to LAX without any consent and the initial response from support was "nothing can be done". I'm asking the support rep to reconsider, but in the case that this discussion goes south, can you please help me out here, @VirMach ? I get like 6-7ms to your Tokyo node and I'd like to keep it if at all possible. Ticket #881292
I don't normally double post, but I can't seem to edit my previous post. Anyways, the situation definitely went south and would really appreciate it if @VirMach would take a look at this. I am honestly quite put off by the way this was handled by support. Here's a redacted transcript for context:
@theloafingone - I am not a rep of virmach, but from your posts I think you are out of luck.
Totally appreciate you did not get the emails, but on Virmach's side they were sent and advised actions necessary.
Now that time has passed, Virmach migrated your service (due to no response from you) and it is too late to prevent this.
Understandably it is very frustrating for you - the real cause of the problem is that the emails went to spam and ideally you should have marked Virmach message as none spam and others would have flowed through correctly.
Any solution to this would be out of Virmach kindness and should not be expected.
I am sorry for you.

One have 3, the other one single.
Arrgh! I'd have taken that, if NY and still able to transfer.
((Just cancelled one of my AMS servers, leaving me with 10.))
It wisnae me! A big boy done it and ran away.
NVMe2G for life! until death (the end is nigh)
Is it still worth it to keep this ?
just idling
Only you can answer that! Sure is a better deal than the one that I cancelled (a BF2021 at nearly twice the cost and less RAM).

Wish I had to start my plot to take over the world!!!
Free Hosting at YetiNode | Cryptid Security | URL Shortener | LaunchVPS | ExtraVM | Host-C | In the Node, or Out of the Loop?
This is a BF 2021 offer too, I decided to cancel it because I have other service with them which is a better deal and is idling too.
Would you like to transfer it instead of cancelling?
Want free vps ? https://microlxc.net
I already requested to cancel the $9.92 one, I use the other one sometimes when I need to test something.
To people needing offers, I believe there will be plenty of new offers on Black Friday.
Multi-IP ones?
(They should still be transferable even if marked for cancellation, AFAIK)

Someone says Multi-IP?

Someone said cancelation?
Someone said support?
Who? What? Where? When? Why? How?

Virmach. Support tickets are needed for service transfers.
May I ask how long it will take for Phoenix to recover?

I don't know where are my servers. It jumped from Dallas to somewhere in Romania 😂
I wonder how Tokyo is doing after that migration thingy.
Only 5% have been migrated,Hope @VirMach won't close JP.
I hope it stays.
What are you guys looking forward to this black friday? Flash sales? Other types of offers?
Will virmach come back this black Friday? Kinda miss him. Flash sale is just like a party.

I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.

Well the migration happened, got a GFW'd IP. Bad luck this time.
