⭕ A simple uptime dashboard using UptimeRobot API https://upy.duo.ovh
⭕ Currently using VPS from BuyVM, GreenCloudVPS, Gullo's, Hetzner, HostHatch, InceptionHosting, LetBox, MaxKVM, MrVM, VirMach.
I mean, it could, I ran a vanilla forum on it myself before but you will find it pretty restrictive after a short amount of time, cant think it would be a great idea.
Running anything in shared gets restrictive very fast. Heck, even my WordPress stopped working after they updated their PHP and broke one of the poorly coded plugins. Had to move it to a VPS to make it work.

Ah ok, haven't ventured with vanilla for a long time?.
As soon the database gets fat, you gonna upgrade.
Just need to migrate a 1GB+ database from a 512MB KVM, was a bad idea.

I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.

It feels like I'm accessing a forum in LAN
Accessing from Malaysia is really fast and was shock with the server specs
Thats cause the site is on cloudflare. So it got cached in the countries it is commonly accessed from.

I wonder if it could fit in your shared hosting offer? Or does vanilla use own thing?

Just vacuum that db once in a while, maybe from a late night cron task. Yes it does load fast, and I see very low ping, I guess because of cloudflare.
@AnthonySmith what storage engine are you using for MariaDB?
Today's update, I suppose i should stop doing this soon, maybe turn it weekly.
InnoDB.

That's a pretty rapid uptake, in my book. Still amazed at how little disc space is consumed, assuming it's still on 5GB.

By the end of the month there'll be 100K views and 300 users.
BF/CM - Buyer Beware. Conduct your own due diligence on the sustainability of the deals presented here as well as the provider's track record.
As attached images can be uploaded directly to the forum, I would also assume the consumed disk space to grow sooner or later.
