Before/After on nexus migration. About same overall with io and net down a bit
@havoc said:
Nexus says my VPS is getting migrated (DE>>NL) so dropping a before here & after to follow a bit later.
Big gotcha though - not representative of migration overall. It's a grandfathered once off clearance special with nine lives and a lot of luck that @seriesn very honourably rolled 1:1 specs wise last migration when really the platforms were not 1:1 comparable at all. So regardless of before/after results I won't be complaining

Were you running anything else at the same time? I know it's an older E5 but I would have expected a little higher.
Nothing fancy to be honest. HDDs are hardware RAID with a little bit of controller/NVMe caching. EVerything is provisioned on LVM.
It just helps with making everything a bit more usable/speedier on the older CPUs.

Still pretty crazy this thing is free, but thanks Oracle! Pretty good CPU performance for an ARM host.

KS-LE but with 4tb drives.
Very nice and lucky find!
@Mr_Tom I've never seen a KS-LE with such high GB5 scores. What's the secret?
Team push-ups!
Not my find... https://talk.lowendspirit.com/discussion/comment/79898/#Comment_79898
Edit: they're advertised with 4tb drives, so it's not luck - from the KS panel: "KS-LE Server - Intel Xeon E5-1650v2 - 32GB DDR3 1333MHz - 2x 4To HDD"
I would have thought that score was about right for a 3.5ghz processor? My other LE (2tb drives) GB5 is 881
You got an upgraded processor as well! 12 cores vs 8
Team push-ups!
See my updated post - this is as advertised. Order form showed KS-LE Server - Intel Xeon E5-1650v2 - 32GB DDR3 1333MHz - 2x 4To HDD
