Hello.
I can’t mount a NFS share in Proxmox 5.3-8.

I tried on another server (read and write) and it works fine.
showmount -e remoteserver
replies:
clnt_create: RPC: Port mapper failure - Timed out
I did pve-firewall stop
and nothing changed.
Any ideas?

Upgrading Proxmox? You are on 5.3-8 and the current version seems to be 6.2-12.
Best wishes from the Mexican desert!
I hope everyone gets the servers they want!
that is the cause. Check the actual nfs server is reachable / working.
check the rules on the nfs server. /etc/exports
Moving to a new server but I need to mount NFS to take backups
I can mount on another server.
Not sure what I did. It works now
Great!
