For a year must stipulate this as some think it is forever.

  • Oracle Cloud and Google Cloud has a free tier.
I have VMs with both of them, google charges around 0.2$ after every two-three months because of resource over usage.

Google cloud and Oracle cloud both have free VPS.

Oracle is way better specs but they're fond of deleting accounts so use at own risk

  • Oracle Cloud has a number of products with the Always free prefix. In addition to the VPS instance it offers free storage (Object Storage) with the ability to access via API and of course Block Storage. Limits and details can be found on their website.

if you are student you can try this https://education.github.com/pack --> finding DigitalOcean you can see "Offer
Enjoy $200 in platform credit for 1 year!" using that credit for free 1 year :)

  • Saw someone with a '30 day free VPS' signature on OGF. Don't remember who. Writing a review gave you an extra 6 months, I think. Maybe you could search for that.
You could also check out free tiers of cloud providers. Link

If you mean Vultr, I don't think their server is free forever

That was public data breaking AUP by multiple violations. Please comment facts not assumptions or hearsay.

I like how you make that sound so black and white. Many mistakes were made on both sides.

I agree with that autoindex was on, and agree that the AUP violator put it the public_html, whether by mistake or not. But the derision and blatant direspect bullying was ongoing nonstop. The content was browseable with hosts file entry or curl --resolve. We decided to lock down the autoindex turning it off. That will avoid any browsable files. We thought that it would be good for customers to use public_html to serve public files for view and content, but not X-rated material as it is AUP violation because of our customers.

You didn't do yourself any favors continually saying you didn't do anything wrong. Every new excuse just fanned the flames that much more.

You have to really get the full picture. I understand that browsing at public_html with curl --resolve from any cli is wrong? Is that what I need to admit? You know what, it's public content. What was done wrong was immediate suspension, we should have honored some time to amend. The flames are fanned both directions. I do not wish the toxicity that has transpired to anyone, but a minority of .001% of members out there do spill toxicity like that. SEO does not actually care, whether it's toxic, fake, lies, or truth. All it cares about is human content, so the forums that follow the threads from the first link click know this, that it foments content and SEO explosions.

The derision and berating is bad. It causes disarray for many. Moderators allow the abuse, insults, attacks, but it's no wonder considering the SEO explosions.
