edited March 8 in General

Good morning,

I hope you are all well?

I just wanted to do a post to introduce myself here, I am Luke, MD of Brit Hoster. We're a new company launched by myself and my wife.

I want to be a part of the community here and will assist where I can with any issues people may come in to technically or otherwise :)

Mod Note: This is an introduction thread for a member that has requested a provider tag.

  • Hmm... a bit too much copy and paste for my taste:

Yes in time we intend to offer VPS, we just want to start getting the ball rolling initially and the next phase will be a rollout of virtual machines :)

That is a blast from the past, I was very young back then maybe 15 or 16?

I've been in and around the hosting industry for a little while, main issue I have had (being completely transparent) was funding to keep things rolling. Fortunately this time I've got an investment company on board (can be seen at Companies House).

From running providers previously to helping out as a freelance SysAdmin I've got plenty of years of experience.

Haha - no offence taken don't worry.

In terms of what I bring to the pub - the main difference is support - I know it's easy to say but a genuine 24h around the clock and so far (granted we are new) ticket response times are under 5 minutes - intention is to keep it that way too! I also know that as we scale that will not be as simple.

I'm looking at introducing VPS in the near future too.

You will be fine here as long as you keep that sense of humor and the drama away from you.

Now starting drama about others well.......😉
