I've really only been in Atlanta for a few months, but currently have three VMs in Atlanta as my Miami was moved there recently. @Kris sold me on the location and so far I have not been disappointed with the network. Uptime has been perfect in Atlanta and there have been no other issues. Only little downside may be is that tunnelbroker does not have a Atlanta location for IPv6. I've been using Ashburn,VA for IPv6 which has been much more stable than the Miami tunnelbroker location ever was so I'm happy.
I've been in San Jose for years and it is one of my favorite locations, mainly due to proximity to my location and network stability. IPv6 via tunnelbroker is good in this location as well.
IMO it is a toss up, as both are really good.

Yeah, really like Flexiental's house blend in ATL. Arelion / 1299, GTT, and Comcast - which gives a stable and low latency blend. Even Comcast gives a good amount of Tier 1 providers. Got 3 of the 'you're moving from Miami' emails, but don't mind.
Already on my 'to-do' list was add Atlanta to my UptimeKuma farm. Now looks like I'll just need to rename my CF tunnel and update the footers.
Hell, Atlanta blend is so stable, only have a handful of SmokePing instances, installed one there. It made it past the two months of being watched from other 'stable transit blends' with SmokePing and not having random issues, jitter or route changes.

Hmm..
Unfortunately, we were unable to recover the data for your virtual server after the most recent outage, due to hardware issues related to a disk. We have regenerated the disk for your virtual server, but an operating system will have to be reinstalled before the service can be utilized.
I don't have any inside info on this one. Maybe VirMan is just a bit behind schedule. I'd give it a day or two. I'd expect Virmach to say something if there was going to be a long delay.
P.S. I am assuming that you have double checked in various ways to insure that you are still in Miami.
