1TB/2TB @ $60/$110 Stack-able Lifetime Subscription Cloud Storage based on Backblaze

It's called Folderfort and you need "any modern browser" to use them according to them.
So, no apps live as of now according to https://www.folderfort.com/roadmap/
I found them via a StackSocial email I received a day ago.

They seems to be new.
Also somewhere I read there is a limit of 999 files per upload.

We all know who's selling lifetime dealz around here.
400 outbound per hour
No hostname left!
Which all lifetime deal you fell for and is alive even to this day ?
Saw it too. But no apps, basically nothing is kinda making me not wanna get this. Sounds too much like "we found a script on Codecanyon to host your files so pls lifetime now". The website doesn't instill much confidence either. Looks neglected, basic.

My @HostSlick lifetime shared plan works for no less than 2-3 years already.
Do not recall when exactly I bought it.
☰ Storage — AMD EPYC VDS (ref) up to 4TB NVMe & 10TB SAN disk / Big HDD VPS (ref) from $2.42/TB/month
I bought physical hardware and now whether or not it gives me returns is based on if I have it plugged in or not. Good "lifetime" deal considering all hardware will eventually age out.

The app is still very basic, but they've integrated rclone now(with a local cli of theirs; roadmap however says they plan to support "regular" rclone soon), so I might try them soon again. So far like 500/2TB occupied.

It's just currently using a premade script from Codecanyon using one of the implemented backends. I remember seeing it advertised on Reddit previously and there was mixed feedback.
I believe they use Backblaze - or at least they did at the beginning, mentions it here: https://www.folderfort.com/about-folder-fort/
They offer a nice new API, but it appears they are also developing a business model centered on traffic-based API credits. It's unclear how many free credits will be included.
I took a quick glance around StackSocial, it looks like that is a very popular front end - it even has built in SaaS mode! I wonder how many of these lifetime hosts are running nulled copies. For paying customers the script is priced at a low $60. It makes me wonder if there are any security flaws that expose private data to the public.
It does, it has all of the payments etc built in through PayPal & Stripe. I own a copy from a few years back. They even sell a mobile app that can connect to your copy of it, so I'm surprised they are not using that also.
They also seem to be selling Micro SD cards which seems pretty strange.

seems to be speed running " get free startup credits from every provider "

Their website is about a year old, so that makes sense, they probably just ran out.
This was supposed to be in my other comment. Sorry for the double post, everyone.
But I remember one smaller company had a box you could use to transport large amounts of data via a physical courier, since overnight mail can be faster than 50+tb transfers. I think Azure still has a feature like this. Either way, if this was their intended use cases for selling physical media, would give them all the props in the world. Instead this just looks cheesy.
Also, if the product folderfort uses for their front end includes a mobile app... Why would he have to make a mobile app? Makes me think he really is using a nulled/warez copy...
I’ll give you a lifetime if you record yourself doing 69 pushups and share it with the community.
Francisco
I can do that. But I'm not the sunny guy
Could you demonstrate? I've heard of one-armed pushups and modified pushups, but not this '69 pushup' variation.
I feel like I'm necro posting at this point, but I gotta say, if you play with the demo of that front-end they're using... The admin user has access to all the files of all the users. I understand that they have root file access, and as a result will have access that way, but having everything accessible through the file manager just doesn't sit right with me.
There is at least a role editor where this can be turned off.
Yet another Stacksocial 2TB LTD slightly cheaper for 89USD offered by "FileJump".
Seems to be a popular way to make some bucks...
By the looks of it, they've basically made no changes to the original script apart from the logo too...
Yes, I thought that maybe the 15MB file limit might be a differentiator (having some calculation that most users might not fill up the storage) but I misread and it is just a 15 GB upload limit.
Then I searched BeDrive to see whether encryption has been added or that AES encryption is their extension. But I guess they just refer to standard LUKS.
I wonder whether Playwright could automate the upload to BeDrive type hosters.
I imagine it's either just a lie or they use Backblaze B2 with encryption enabled.
