  The reason I opened this thread is because most cheap registrars are in US. I find this a bit weird, so I started wondering if there are any cheap registrars which are non-US based.

  I use netim.com for some domains. They are french and they add free basic hosting + email to every domain.

  It seems they price domains on a monthly basis, which I’ve always found to be an unusual practice.

  Anyone has experience with "site.nl" (or their local variants, site.eu site.fr site.es etc.)?
  Looks like it's based in the Netherlands (registered as "Site BV"), they have a few interesting offers for domains.
  However the website seems a bit, hmmm, "off" and I can't locate trustable reviews (search engines will return all sorts of "site" sites... clever...)
