    I've been idling a $1/month Special Sailor VPS (512 MB, 30 GB disk, 512 GB transfer, IPv4 and IPv6) since BF 2020. Along the way it appears to have been upgraded from HDD to SSD to NVMe. Earlier this month the host node got a big upgrade; I've seen my unofficial munin benchmark (processing time graph--how long it takes to build the page) drop from 4.5 seconds to 2.1 seconds, which is on par with the Virmach 2GB for life free VPS performance. Steal dropped from from 0.38% to something like 0.01%. At one point it had an uptime of over 400 days! Very solid performer.

    Every BF I look around for a better (more disk, more ram) $1/month deal to replace this one (because let's face it, 512 MB isn't going to run modern Debian forever) but it hasn't happened yet. With paypal fees, it may never happen.

    Recommended.
