First 3.5 hours down later up for the price? is there a pattern with other offers?
Not sure exactly what the patterns are and what confusing factors VirMach might put into play... but, I do suspect that if demand is low (nobody buys) it goes down up to a pre-set minimum (no clue how low/crazy that could be at moment), and when demand is high (the gold rush starts), then next time it'll increase again...
I'm making rough notes in notepad to try and figure out... but I doubt without coupons/vouchers* any will now reach levels low enough to make my Top10 collection... so I'm not giving it full attention and more like watching with 1 eye, just out of curiosity

I've been going through and setting the rejected ones to pending. I need to improve that part of the code further and figure out a way we can deal with all that to keep it clean. The other problem is that you're technically supposed to complete the purchase once you make it, otherwise it gets counted toward your whole "ordered but didn't actually pay" thing (which isn't currently utilized but might in the future.) But then we have cases like yours where something obviously went wrong for that to occur.
I can't cancel/change, that opens a whole pandora's box of people doing that if the price goes down and I don't want to be on record making an exception, sorry.

A customer made a series of bulk orders and messed up my spreadsheet, I have to start over. We're basically down by at least 500 IPv4 since I started on my custom deals. And he's still ordering, I'll wait until he stops.
He's not doing anything wrong. He's just making a lot of orders. Some customers do that. It was just unexpectedly large so it made my calculations inaccurate for any custom deals right now.

Many reasons. The system works better with longer times, and it's no longer Black Friday. This is just a small bonus. As we add more nodes and people cool off a little bit, we can have bursts of it speeding up on special occasions when more people are around, if I have more deals, etc. It's not realistic to expect everyone to passionately follow 15 minute deals for weeks non-stop. I'll have some more time to add in other features maybe to make it more exciting, like announcements for these periods. This all gives it a higher chance we can keep it around longer and in a more meaningful way as a sub-brand if we go that route.
Other reasons:
Lower timer results in exponentially more issues with last minute orders which require manual intervention
Lower volumes, it means by the time people get to seeing and considering buying it, it's gone. Longer timer, plans still sell
Sales are much more accurate as nodes have more time to settle down, which is also required as nodes fill out more
All of the above can be dealt with for Black Friday as an exception but also not 24x7 indefinitely.

Many reasons. The system works better with longer times, and it's no longer Black Friday. This is just a small bonus. As we add more nodes and people cool off a little bit, we can have bursts of it speeding up on special occasions when more people are around, if I have more deals, etc. It's not realistic to expect everyone to passionately follow 15 minute deals for weeks non-stop. I'll have some more time to add in other features maybe to make it more exciting, like announcements for these periods. This all gives it a higher chance we can keep it around longer and in a more meaningful way as a sub-brand if we go that route.
