So far my journey with Virmach after 2021/2022 Ryzen upgrade is very good, Most of the time the node that i use is quite stable-99% of time.(FFM/AMS/TYO)
I'll probably head off after the next switch. I've been staying up way too late the last few days and have a busy day tomorrow and the next couple days.
Thanks for the evening of fun, @VirMach. Anything manual and absolutely redonkulously amazing and all blinged out in San Jose or LA (Quadranet) or West/Central US coming up? :P

this is actually good even without discount if uptime is respectable.
You have about a 99% chance of having 99.9% uptime and a 1% chance of having a 66.6% uptime. And then a small gradient in between the two. Unless some other company we use goes out of business, or there's a DC fire, or... all the other fun stuff.

Doing those next. Don't know if they'll be crazy/weird or not. You'll probably have to stay up another hour for it though.

Thanks for the heads up. Stupid time zones and rent.
So.... my black friday 2024 journey ended with purchased Virmach VPS with its 8 IP. Thank you....
I'm still remember you guys held 2021 black friday with spinning wheel for every order number and recorded it by phone, uploaded it to YT. You guys always have something different every year BF

Offer #729 comeback?
Sure. I'm raising the price by 10% though since we had* that on high quantities so everyone should have had a chance to get it if they just hooked up the alerts to a fire alarm.
If only native IPv6 was available I could set up some public NAT64 DNS64 for IPv6 only VPS users. At least some of my flash sale collection won't be idling 24/7 then.
If, instead of cooking up these tough nut puzzles, you had reconfigured your routers with IPv6 support (far easier I assume than cooking up these puzzles), we would all be in a frenzy buying machines instead of having hangovers (and dreams/nightmares) with jumping alphabets and digits (and wheels, rings, plugs and BUyd08DNigVAbBr77qngDZmfWzYKay mUKnGAskLPI3EFwPlAY7nA8QPg3Q0X zdQgfXAnz5eMQUa8J3O5NLpuQCEeb8 and what have you).
On the other hand, there are plenty of IPv6 enabled hosts (yes, that's a hint) but none of them seem to have any sense of puzzles (other than CFs find-me-a-tiger-on-a-cookie-which-looks-like-polished-turd and on how to defeat bots when they post URLs for everyone to scalp).
So reluctantly, keep us entertained with those puzzles. I'll go else where for my IPv6 fix.
P.S: that is actually garbage, don't try to decode it. You have been warned.

Okay how about we finally officially release IPv6 but you have to figure out what address you got assigned.

As long as you phrase it as a puzzle, you got me hook-line-and-sinker.
We may get bored pretty quickly with IPv6 once it works as designed.
Then we may come back to harass you for more code (pun intended) breaking (or fixing) exercises.
While I may be a moron to refuse some deals and coupons (I've now learnt to survive on the bits and remnant bytes from deciphering redundant ciphers), the others are not so naive and they may harbo(u)r expectations of that 99% coupon you've alluded to but never dropped (hint: you're welcome to overprice that VM as is common with some providers and THEN provide us with a 99% coupon that reduces the price to a more earthly $5 for a decently spec'd machine). I hear there are <$5 VMs WITH IPv4 (this is NOT important for you) AND IPv6 (this is important for you) at not-mainstream locations (this is kind of important for you).
But I digress.
IPv6 and you have a guinea pig.
(actually I have VMs with you WITH IPv6 in AMS and TOK - if it works there I'm pretty sure you can make it work anywhere else on the planet, except for some DCs that you're very well aware of).

Ha, I'd feel rude idling another 8 IPv4
Well... now we know why there's IPv4 exhaustion.

I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
My uptime in NYC Metro has been very good
so is mine in Tokyo. but its like rolling the dice

THANK YOUU MY LOVE @VirMach
I’m a simple man I see gifs, I press thanks
Imagine running Proxmox on plan 1020 and all your 8 containers (with dedicated IPs) trying to all share that 1 tiny core

I don't want any more VMs...
I don't want any more VirMach VMs...
I don't want any more VMs with more than 1 IPv4...
I DO want VMs with IPv6...
I will nevah have enough VMs actually have enough VMs.
This motivated me to buy one more VPS a hour ago, because I knew that you were going to say this.

I don't get any vps from any provider even though I have some good coupons. The coming year will be my vps-free one
Virmach Deals
We'll definitely keep this in mind.
We finally release IPv6, every single person is no longer idling, all nodes crash. The end is nigh.
Maybe IPv9 will be out by then. Then you can have IPv6-to-9 tunnels.
I can't wait for IP addresses to look like this.
[12:%5:$D:@4]{2001🕐︎0000♋︎130F♈︎0000🔾0000🖏09C0♊︎876A✈130B}

"Grandma, can you please read the address more slowly?"
"There are numbers, then a clock, then a 69, then a uterus, then some kale, and an airplane"

congratulations who win and kudos @Wonder_Woman and all
Why would VirBot do this to me. I just realized how many orders that one got. Let it be known this node had 432 days of uptime before this happened.
Oh right
