I just got here and there's a wonderful POST-BF Frenzy (that I clearly have no ability to comprehend).
What just happened? I thought we had finished the hard part and had to go away to do some real work.
There was more hard part, but more hard on the manual labor side of things
WAS or IS ONGOING?
Either way I'll let you get back to your code breaking and I'll wait for the tl;dr later.
Intrigued.
And feeling very bad about the whole timing of this thing - at the end of a long brain draining session, the horse power is just not there (clear proof on the wonders of sleep how it makes the brain mush without it).
Sorry that I'm not able to pitch in (esp. in a timely way).

Did I say anything else that contradicted this right here, and was the letter excluded from the decoding? I guess I should also ask, how do you guys determine the meaning of "excluded from decoding."

Because one way didn't work so we are trying the other way now haha

Just this, I guess:
therefore it remains as "A" after decoding
I took that to literally mean A from one code should stay as A in the decoded form

There are a couple other ways, and each leads to their own permutations and a completely different set of potential codes.

It would also make a difference whether the Q was simply deleted or replaced with a placeholder letter/symbol before decoding.
Edit: also whether or not we reinsert it as Q after decoding opens additional possible permutations. FML

Yeah, excluding the Q from the Alphabet changes up the decoded result, but actually the Q is still in the same place, lol

you're able to remove it from the alphabet group during the decoding part, which resulted in the second set of codes we are currently working on. this was after decoding (without any removal in that alphabet group part of the decoding process) then swapping out the letter for [A-Z] did not work
This is the closest response to what I'm requesting. So I just want to confirm:
You guys first did not remove it from the alphabet group, and those codes are what I initially asked a question about
In the frenzy of comments, you guys did a second set where it was removed
If I ever mentioned that you guys should not remove it first (resulting in second set) please do quote it as that'd be foul on my part. Otherwise, it did have to be removed before the decoding (as in from the alphabet set.) So that's what we're looking for, whether or not I said anything at all that would make it sound like this was not an important/required step or if anyone interpreted it as such.

It's possible I'm thinking of a different cipher tried before, but deleting it vs replacing it with different letters changed other letters, too.

So the second set was correct, but we still didn't find the right code...

Can you provide the second set so I can compare it against mine? And when the second set was done, was it done including the ENTIRE code block, or only a snippet? As that would also affect the results (actually probably not.) I'm just trying to guess other reasons it'd be different.

Oh my god, what?
We were only converting the 4th portion, lmao
All I'm seeing is that I saw two different blocks than my results, and I was able to replicate my results. I'm trying to figure out how to get it to display like yours.
So it should have been these
HVQRLPYT
BMVYNFQJ
QTLRPVSM
QLKPTXVY
ZJQYPFVB
PQXLNYSM
RQSFLVPT
KXQOYJTB
Okay yes, it should have been those. Sorry I was just trying to be careful with my words, I'm a little confused as well switching between tabs and trying to get it to match your results staring at a bunch of jumbled letters. From my understanding it would make a difference whether or not it'd be the whole block but I'm only 90% sure so I added that little disclaimer in my edit.

Sorry
Okay in this case, there will be a consolation prize. I shouldn't have added confusion by trying to get you guys to save time on checking a specific chunk and should have mentioned to still decode the entire block.
I think what would be a fair consolation prize in this case is that we divide the 49 codes into 1/6th block for 1/6th of the work that was done to get to the finish line. I'm going to start generating eight codes and messaging them to the people that made the most to least comments or appear to have been most to least pivotal in doing the final work. It might have been more than 8 people that did that, so it's just going to be the top 8 from my memory and checking the thread. It'll be private messaged as I don't want anyone else doing none of the work/contribution and just using the codes.

On with your struggles...
KZQHGXBX not work
I assumed that meant
Q####### -> Q#######
After the conversion the Q kept it's position
Did I say anything else that contradicted this right here, and was the letter excluded from the decoding? I guess I should also ask, how do you guys determine the meaning of "excluded from decoding."
I think the point is how can we confirm the letter is Q?
食之无味 弃之可惜 - Too arduous to relish, too wasteful to discard.
No winners with KZ[A-Z]HGXBX
