My friend showed me the game in 3rd grade around 2003, I remember mining in Barbarian Village for a very long time, and then getting scammed for my black platelegs or something like that.
@VirMach I understand that you disallow removing credit cards by default for a reason, but would it be possible to remove mine from my account. When I plan to renew I will obviously re-add it, I just don't like having payment methods saved if I'm not actively considering purchasing something.
@nullnothere said: @VirMach that was a class act by @Wonder_Woman and I think you should release a code in hono(u)r of the achievement exclusively for him/her.
Of course for the rest of us clapping here, it'll be nice to have something - we are happy to clap more for you as well.
Alright, here's a coupon code. It's hidden in between 8 other coupon codes, and it's using the SHA256 cipher (am I pronouncing that right?) Anyway it should be really easy.
In case you weren't fooling, I tried all the permutations of the 9 codes I'm aware of from the cipher block concatenated and hashed, with and without spaces. No match
@user123 said: @Wonder_Woman great job! You definitely earned that (recurring) $40 discount.
And, the more years you idle it, the higher the valuation of your hourly work rate!
Question for @Wonder_Woman, @Kris, and anyone else who has a larger NVMe VPS: does your disk show up as the swap? I started running YABS and it said this:
Less than 2GB of space available. Skipping disk test...
Which then led me to notice:
RAM : 7.5 GiB
Swap : 796.3 GiB
Disk : 3.6 GiB
I'm used to seeing the disk show up as...the disk. Is there something different I need to do for this or is the config on mine wonky?
Which OS? I think someone reported something similar earlier. Could be my fault.
So...it came with AlmaLinux 8.9 (Midnight Oncilla) installed, but SolusVM lists the OS as "DISABLED - Windows Desktop (Server 2019) Evaluation Legacy". There was no option for me to pick an OS at time of purchase. I'm going to be heading to bed now, as I should have done a few hours ago.
Edit: I'll probably set it to reinstall something else and then hit the hay.
I got a similar one @ with Alma already installed and Solus showing Disabled windows - which I found a bit odd
But I haven't tried to install anything yet, so no idea if there'll be issues.

They added a new feature where it defaults a blank template to the first operating system it finds. For these specials, we disable it to prevent any problems from it trying to install so many operating systems at once but I guess it doesn't matter anymore if it's going to install Almalinux anyway and then label it as some other disabled operating system that doesn't exist.
It's like if they're going to do that I don't understand why they wouldn't at least do it properly instead of making it go no OS found, panic, pick the first OS, regardless of whether that one exists or not, oh no, that one doesn't exist either, let me leave the name there but then install another OS without telling anyone what I'm doing.

So many special and undocumented bugs features of Solus
The part that's interesting to me is how it handles swap. Someone mentioned in a ticket that it came with Almalinux and the SWAP/disk were flipped in some way, and that after they re-installed the same exact OS from the control panel (Almalinux) it fixed itself. So are they really also keeping the partition numbers from the first template it tries and fails and applying it to the second? Because that'd be a feature.

Sorry - think you misunderstood. I am not blaming you, it is @virmach messing around.
Enjoy your VPS.
I really did think you had a good chance at figuring out MATTS when I created it (my reply to you asking for clues, I think.)
@VirMach said: Okay I'll give you some clues on the many coupons that already exist. One of them has to do with a very popular UI error that we discussed previously on this thread. Then there's a bunch of anagrams for people's name, I don't even think anyone's looking for those but they're so easy, you can can use a solving too or AI and start giving it people's names here that make posts. I went ahead and added another one. I was going to also give you a hint on the cipher but I don't even remember what was exactly used anymore. Oh here I'll just give you one of them which should make it infinitely easier to solve, with one caveat: the first character is missing.
Brain wave - is what was posted the actual coupon code? He must be fooling and toying with us.
Doesn't appear to be
It is solvable and it is easy. I feel like so much time was spent on it the last time around that you might think it's more sophisticated than it really is.
Coupon code "NOGAMES" for 30% off recurring. May expire at any time. No quantity limit. I'm going to expire it in about an hour or two, unless I forget.

Oh snap, I figured it out! Now.. what to use it on
Took me 2 hours just to catch up with all the messages in this thread - This shows LES does work and I hope Virmach really profits from this.
Next can we have a 'stability' coupon
Damn, had work today so couldn't join the festivities. Had fun reading @Wonder_Woman 's post about solving the cipher though. Now just have to find the one flash sale deal I can't resist...

@VirMach It would be a great surprise if some usernames were randomly selected as discount codes!

. #694 with that coupon would have breached the $ 7 threshold. :-)
Of course, other codes also enable that
