Windscribe Proxy Gateaway Feature

Windscribe is handsdown, probably one of my best lifetime vpn purchases ever made. They continue to add awesome features. They already had secure hotspot (vpn) sharing feature before for wifi.
Now the desktop app has a "proxy gateaway" feature, so you can connect SmartTVs etc to it:

They didon Stacksocial. I purchased it back in 2018ish?! Shortly after Ivacy and Keepsolid :D
I gambled on their future, and I couldn't be happier.

Good purchase, Windscribe is one of these VPN's I have nothing against.
Yegor is a good dude, and I would trust him with my traffic.

    Besides this https://windscribe.com/blog/ukrainian-server-seizure-a-commentary-and-state-of-the-industry-e71e8d205b26/

Nothing major, as no customer data was there, but servers were still unencrypted(they are now).

I agree. There are vpns like Mullvad where you can opt to enter less data about you, however, Windscribe is a solid choice and I like Yegor, too :)

I still regret it to this day for not grabbing that $60 lifetime deal from several years ago.

  • Is it possible for anyone who has Windscribe and ControlD to check SG - SMRT (GSL) location whether it works with netflix redirect feature ?

I have netflix redirect set to New York on ControlD, Netflix works as expected with other IPs i tested except the ones with GSL SG on windscribe.
On windscribe it doesnt redirect when using ControlD and shows the location as SG instead.

Windscribe really knows how to add value to a lifetime purchase. I’ve used the hotspot sharing feature before, but Proxy Gateway for SmartTVs and other devices? That’s next-level.
