H2.Nexus - VPS Germany 1 core, 1gb ram for $0.5 per month($10 setup fee, recurring)

edited November 2024 in Must See Deals

Yet another promo vps from a Russian provider, this time it isn't even tunneled from Hetzner so that's good.
https://h2.nexus/

Latency to gateway is 1ms, servers are really located in Germany, Frankfurt with Fiord Networks transit and as203446.net ddos protection.

(note, information isn't accurate, there isn't a setup fee)
There is a $10 setup fee that was introduced shortly before I posted this thread.

You can pay $0.5 monthly over and over again, as in adding next months in their panel.
With Monero payments over Cryptomus price per month with fees is $0.54, so if you do it 12 times you have a vps for a year for roughly $6.5.

Also worth noting they have fake reviews on their site, most likely done as a joke but it still doesn't look too good (archive)

And they are from the same communities as Aeza or Xorek, providers I posted about before. They cater to Russians skids, so obviously don't trust them too much.
As a throwaway vm, a vpn or something else that doesn't put so much trust in them, it will be fine.

Performance is fair for the price, and its stable(since I got it, around a week ago), so I took the gamble for 50 cents :)

It appears that the setup fee went into effect 18 hours ago.

Have the honor of being the crybaby who pays $20 for a 128MB VPS at VirMach in 2023.

Good to know, thanks for letting me know.
Makes this deal quite a bit less appealing.

At least they didn't charge me it lol

  • @H2NEXUS any codes for LES members to get rid off setup fee?

  • PS: This site charges in US dollars, not Euros.

    Yup, corrected it.

Been using it for a month now, and honestly, it's really decent for the price. No downtimes or anything.

  • Also - here's why setup was introduced. Looks like it is temporary.

On October 1st, we launched a true revolution in hosting — PROMO-Platinum
A full-featured server on a top-tier Intel Xeon 8260 Platinum processor for only $0.50 per month, with no hidden restrictions!
Initially, only 4000 of these servers were available, and you bought them all in just 38 days, averaging 100 servers sold per day.
Today, there are fewer than 200 servers of this configuration left, and due to increased fraudulent activity, we've decided to temporarily add a one-time $10 setup fee for this plan. The plan's price remains unchanged. This measure will help reduce demand and protect the servers from misuse until we can add more and improve security.

  • That expression: "without support" keeps me away. It reminds me of Virmach and waiting for weeks to get something solved.

Stop the planet! I wish to get off!

  • The $10 setup fee should be like escrow if it is really just to minimize abuse. If you don't do abusive things then you can pay the 50 cent per month invoices from the $10 escrow amount you paid in. The way it is setup now you are paying like $17/year for a pretty low spec vps which isn't very attractive.

If anyone wants to give it a shot for a month or something, I have discovered on accident where the "stock" went.
It went to Luxhost.cc which I suspected to be Aeza, but its not.

Their German promo vps is 1:1 what H2 offered, just 3x more expensive :)
1,5 usd still isn't bad in my opinion for the kind of performance you get, but not close 0.5

I have both, and they are identical, perform pretty good. Promo plan isn't on Ryzen, but Xeon Platinum 8260

  • There's also https://it-garage.pro/#datacentres with this:

    yeah, I'm aware of them.

have been stocking on sketchy russian hosts recently, got luxhost, qwins, xorek(again), u1host, h2nexus, play2go, hostserv

they work excellent for i2p, fast cpu's and 100 Mbps unmetered bw(havent seen i2p go higher than 70 Mbps even on high end cpu). im pushing lots of traffic from them

will publish my findings soon'ish, i have a decent understanding of how they operate but would like to get contacts to people "at the top" operating this hetzner-reselling tunnel machine. many of these hosts seem like resellers of big boys like NETSHIELD.
