Something else, I don't know if your against self hosting, but I have used https://mediacms.io/ in the past for self hosting, and it is pretty powerful, much more so if your not going to encode your videos in anything outside of the uploaded "default". I say powerful as I ran this off of a 2 GB Linode for over a year without a lick of problems.
The only "problems" I ran into it was it is not very easy to theme, and can't really mod it to well to say add ads/banners such if you want to make some monies.
Thanks
Self hosting costs. I do stuff for free, that is OK, but I won’t pay for sharing stuff for free. It feels like robbing my family.

Actually super intersting to hear you opted for rumble. I am writing my final thesis at university about the spread of fake news in the light of covid and will analyse a specific movie that was only published on Rumble and Odyssee, but censored/deleted from the popular/common platforms due to spread of disinformation. Right now I don't think this will fit in the scope of the thesis, but I may also analyse the video platforms it's been posted to. Never really heard of the two platforms before, too.

I was activelly looking for alternatives.
Hadn't known about either of those two before googling.
They seem to be less strict in terms of censorship - compared to YouTube; but they are also a lot smaller (way less than 1% of users compared to YouTube). If they grow, I expect they will become like YouTube - gradually and innevitably.
Edit:
YouTube is technically supperior to either of the two. Way ahead.
Honestly, as much as I hate to say it, YouTube really is king in this market.
Until there is an alternative platform where I can learn how to fix an old model and relatively obscure vehicle, find live concerts and rare tracks and recordings from bands, find general informational videos (been watching National Geographic style travel videos lately), etc then they all eventually sort of fail.
Too many just end up being: obscure right wing commentary videos (and I lean right, find them annoying), crypto and investment scam bullshit, and then just a few obscure things here and there.

I would also add that technical quality of the alternatives is lacking: upload speed, streaming bandwidth, mobile app performance, desktop experience, search (though YouTube itself is not very good at that last thing either, but alternatives are worse) etc...
One of the few upsides of Rumble is that, for now at least, I can communicate with a live, real, reasonable human being from the platform. With YouTube - it is dystopian. I had the YouTube system flag one of my videos (my stuff is technical, non-controversial in any way... unless you are a huge SRAM fan LOL), and I could file a complaint for a review, but in case the review does not accept my complaint, there was some harsh penalty (not sure if it was "just" demonetization or a complete channel deletion, something crazily severe in any case).
