@VirMach What is the method to remove the temporary/secondary VPS now that my Frankfurt VPS is working wonderfully in Amsterdam? I want to keep the original one.

I assume it gonna delete the 'not-active' one in few days - if you are lucky one and things worked correctly you have "Secondary service" button on the left that should trigger a popup where you can switch 'active' service and show the timeleft.
However VirMach earlier said that the deleting part is deactivated, so depends from volume of those services maybe they will go by hand? Like if one is working, second one is not it's obvious which one to delete If both are working then yeah, gamble/ticket/use the active state?

Thank you for assistance. No "Secondary service" button anymore. I have shutdown temporary/secondary VPS. Have original VPS running. Fingers crossed.

I can only see the secondary service on my panel. I attempted to create it when the servers were down and I clicked on the option to migrate data also. It failed obviously, yet there is a secondary service with no sign of the original.

Update -- there may be a few minutes of connectivity loss between approximately 9PM and 10PM local time on May 29th, 2024 as we finalize the migration. FFME003 will also be brought back online.
// I assume Amsterdam is local time, so the window opens in 42 minutes from the time of this post

Yeah, the system didn't do a terrific job at updating status but I see all the logs on our end and I'll be manually handling it and using it for bugfixes for future versions. I'll try to clear any problem ones out by tomorrow, as a few (3 to 4) maybe be fully stuck in a bad way, and will extend those services further.

I see one that looks like this, I have to plug it all into the database manually for you and then both should appear. Sorry for the wait but hopefully done tonight/tomorrow morning.
By the way the future version of the secondary service system will actually allow you to activate secondary service even while the server is down, that's why you were able to perform the action but why it failed halfway. The code is there for it but reverted back (poorly) as loading from backups was not thoroughly tested yet.
So once that new version is finalized, how it would work is it'd spin up the secondary service for you still, check the logs for the last status report for the service details and pull from backups instead of from the node for the data. Overall the system worked pretty well, once we iron everything out and get this portion of it pushed out it should work a lot better next time around.
@VirMach When you running manual cleanup would renaming hostnames inside SolusVM (as I have access to -primary and -secondary from SolusVM, only access to one from WHMCS - the button is gone) help?
Like I would change one of those hostnames to deletethis and leave second as something normal?
My VPS still offline / unreachable from the FFME003 node
There is any ETA when will be available again?
Previously set valid rDNS also disappeared from the IP
Thx for the answer & help!
Ps: I never received any email about this migration / problem. I noticed about the problem only when my VM (and the running services) get offline. The "email history" (in the WHMCS) can confirm it.

Off topic from your message, sorry, but shared hosting seems to be down. I can ping the server (or rather, the system associated with the IP address given by the name server), but HTTP/HTTPS seems to be failing...
We cannot load the controls for your service at this time.
This could either mean:
A) It took too long to load.
The server controls have been automatically disabled due to an anomoly.
C) The server could be offline, in which case we have already been notified.
All servers in Amsterdam have been taken offline, de-racked and are on their way to Rotterdam to be loaded on a bulk ship. They should be back online in our Secaucus, NJ data center within a week.

@VirMach - I am trying to migrate my server but have not gotten a response to my ticket for a over a month. Would you please respond to Ticket #903479?

Same situation My VM on FFME003 too, and still offline. I can't start it on the SolusVM. And no any new official update on the 'Network Status' page
It was rock solid before this migration/downtime, hope it will be back soon.
Anyway thanks for the information.

^^ Forgot to post, networking took longer than anticipated. Also not good emails had problems sending out it seems even though SolusVM confirmed.

Too many repeat customers are abandoning VIRMACH.
was it better with colocrossing? can Virmach still turn back time?
guess we'll never find out
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
This has already been mentioned, https://lowendspirit.com/discussion/comment/163998#Comment_163998.
Mentioning it again isn't really adding anything to the discussion.

Nodes which seem to be currently down:
At least no ip pingable, get a cloudflare error on billing panel and status is buffering in solusvm
Welp that was fast.
Whole Amsterdam offline, just a week after Frankfurt migration
