[Dedicated Server] Intel Special......special
We have a couple of configurations we're trying to clear out. These are a bargain bin of CPUs, there's no way to guarantee what you're going to get and there's no way to switch to a different CPU if it's not what you want. Make sure that the WORST CPU here is fine for your needs.

Looking ideally for West Coast 14900K with Lower Lesser Low Least pricing. /s Haha, that's 4xLE™ or, and maybe better, L⁴E™ pricing! /s
Maybe another location besides West Coast might not be so bad if the pricing could be adjusted.
When it is possible within my providers' billing systems, I like to pay monthly, but a month in advance, so two months' payments initially, and then monthly, but, in effect, a month in advance because the deposit carries over. That way my provider never has a question about whether next month's payment will be made because next month's payment already has been received.
I am likely to need some help installing. I heard that the NetBSD kernel now has support for Intel's performance and efficiency cores, so NetBSD-current might be fun to try. I also like Debian sid and Fedora Rawhide.
It would be lovely if I could learn a little more about the switches, routers, and networks to which my servers are attached. When the provider has a 100% hard confidential zero trust for security reasons policy, such a policy does little to help me learn.
Typically, every few months, something happens, and I ask a support question. A recent support question at my favorite German provider resulted in a dozen or so emails back and forth (not counting the autoreplies). The provider then adjusted their server control system to address the issue being discussed.
Sometimes friends, and friends of friends, also use my servers. I would like a few extra IPv4s, maybe a /29 or a /28 and an IPv6/48.
Typically, not much bandwidth is needed. Think GB instead of TB. For me, so far, the point is more that the server operating system is accessible from everywhere, rather than serving content.
Never in a rush. Always taking it easy, so whenever the provider gets around to my stuff, it's fine.
I often post about my servers. It has happened, once each so far, that my posts have been picked up by Google Discover and liinked on Hacker News.
I understand why some providers might think of me as a potentially troublesome, time consuming customer. Nevertheless, please feel free to ping me if something unexpected becomes available at reliablesite. Meanwhile, unless you explicitly ask me to continue bouncing your threads, I will try to bother you less often. /s
Always best wishes and kindest regards!
I hope everyone gets the servers they want!
Did you say free thread bumps? I'll take it.
