Can you tell me what the PayPal receiving account is
Hi @Joey! The Paypal receiving address is mentioned in the OP. However, all the presently available slots have been taken. We need to add more slots, or add an additional Node. Which do you think would be the best? Best wishes!
If the existing server is relatively idle, adding more slots may be a more economical and reasonable choice. By utilizing existing resources, you can effectively use the server without the need for additional setup time and costs. Adding slots can help maximize server performance and provide more resources to users. This approach can also extend the server's lifespan by better utilizing its resources. Therefore, adding more slots may be a good option when the existing server is relatively idle.

Thanks for this comment! May I please ask, how many more slots should be added? How would you determine the best number of slots? Thanks again!
Some of the guys who are emailing with me have said that a server in Germany 🇩🇪 might work for them. So I am setting up a German server for them to try. If the German server does not work well, then we can try an additional server in the USA 🇺🇸.

You're welcome! Determining the number of slots to add depends on various factors such as the current workload, expected future growth, and available resources. To determine the best number of slots, consider monitoring the server's performance metrics such as CPU usage, memory usage, and disk I/O. Additionally, analyze the historical data on user traffic and workload patterns to forecast future demand. Based on this analysis, you can gradually add more slots and monitor the server's performance to ensure optimal resource utilization without overloading the system. It's often a balance between providing enough capacity to handle current and future demand while avoiding resource wastage.

It seems that I asked for a suggested specific number of slots that should be added in this particular case, and an explanation of why the suggested specific number is correct. Any ideas specific to this case at hand? Thanks! Friendly greetings! Best wishes!

As has been discussed, Crunchy, the server that @crunchbits has given to me for free until November is out of slots. Crunchy doesn't have enough disk space to allocate more 1000 GB slots. So I have to do something different.
What I have thought about today is using an existing server that I already have in Germany. But it would not be storage VPSes. Maybe something like:
It would be easy for me to get a storage server with huge disks. It only takes about ten minutes to get a server. But, unlike Crunchy, which is free until November 8, I would have to pay for the storage server. So I am wondering how much you and a few others might want to pay.
There are lots of good storage offers around from providers big and small. Maybe @crunchbits would be perfect for you? Many people are not interested in MetalVPS. But a few people do seem to think MetalVPS might be okay.
It's really ai, because I'm not familiar with English, and it's like this after AI translation.
This is embarrassing.
Just some friendly life advice: if you're using AI and don't make it clear that you're using AI, this is equivalent to plagiarism, and sooner or later -- probably sooner than later -- you'll be exposed. It's best to adopt good practices early

Good point, may I also add- run a plagiarism check before posting if you use AI.
The other day, I wrote a post, I was asked by the reader if “AI was used.” I took that question as a reminder of the times we live in, and I clarified to what extent it was (spellcheck and readability). .For images I add in Alt, maybe a small disclaimer at the footer of page could be default going fwd.

Intent of plagiarism check can also be to ensure original work is… original! Sometimes the exact phrase may be used but in a different context.
Eg. “ He bowled a maiden over” may get flagged since that exact phrase was used in a romantic novel.
But my essay or blog was describing a game of cricket.
I do not want to leave validation of my work to some half wit evaluator who would use similar tool, flag the same sentence, without understanding the context.
“Because the software showed you have plagiarized “. Has happened with me before, can happen with others.
There is a difference between asking an AI bot
"Write me a blog post about 12 ways to leave earth along with Dolphins" and publishing as your own, ghostwriting
versus
"I have written a blog post on 12 Ways to leave earth with Dolphins. Can you review the same and offer suggestions for better readability?" line or copy editing
versus
"Attached is an advanced draft of my blog post on 12 Ways to leave earth with Dolphins. Can you prepare an excerpt, suggest keywords, and check if any section needs to be better optimized for seo?" seo specialist
versus
"I have written a blog post on 12 ways to leave earth with Dolphins. Can you translate it into Hindi / Marathi / Telugu / Klingon ... for me ? " translator
1 and 4 without attribution are very different from 2 and 3 with (or without attribution). Very few people would mention names of copy editor or seo specialist in a press release/ blog post/ journal paper. Maybe the former.

Hi @vyas , I agree that there are a number of distinctions to be made, and I don't think that we would necessarily disagree about the distinctions or the issues involved
I was first and foremost talking about the case where someone simply copies and pastes an AI-generated text as though it were their own, with no clarification of any kind, as we witnessed at least twice above by @Joey
It's also the case that one might think that it's not a big deal to do this, especially for comments on a hosting forum, but I would say that minimally, it just looks silly and unserious if one does this, and sooner or later this (bad) practice will harm one's reputation in real life (i.e., outside of a hosting forum)
(Not that it matters here, but on OGF we have a rule against AI-generated posts, for which one can receive a warning)

Given that many big providers offer free VPSes, and having in mind times when national bank interest rates went negative, and always thinking of Low End LOLs, I actually have thought about paying people to take my VPSes. I haven't yet lowered the prices below free. But I have tried several different pricing structures. LELOL!™ /s

I guess rather than reduce the disk allocation we could "oversell" the disk allocation.
Since nobody seems to be using anything beyond a minimal amount of disk, what difference would it make if we added an additional eight 1 TB accounts? And somebody actually could use their full allocation if they wanted.
