VPN UI Panel for OpenVPN or WireGuard
Hello,
I would like to ask if anyone here knows about VPN panels based on OpenVPN or WireGuard with functionality for managing end-user accounts. Perhaps something similar to konnect.kuy.io but free/open source.
Thank you.

Open Source alternative to TailScale (wireguard) - https://github.com/juanfont/headscale
Don't think they have anything very fancy for OpenVPN for some reason or another.
Dude haven't heard this name in a long time

I like the name, tail vs head. Lol.

same codebase I think. Tail has more features (e.g., web UI) closed sourced. Head is barebones, CUI based.
The all seeing eye sees everything...
Headscale is a free and open source implementation of the tailscale server (the software), which is closed source. Headscale is unaffiliated with Tailscale (the company) and is written from scratch afaik.
The tailscale client is commercial but open source, and is compatible with headscale.
Headscale works well. The only issue is documentation - you'll need to join their discord and ask.
I believe some Tailscale employees are also working on Headscale.

Huh yeah you're right, the second maintainer Kristoffer Dalby gets paid by Tailscale to maintain Headscale: https://archive.fosdem.org/2023/schedule/event/goheadscale/.
That really makes me trust it less . Embrace, Extend, Extinguish... And I just automated it! Ugh.
Maybe wg-meshconf is a less insidious but more labor intensive alternative?
To get back on topic: @Dazzle, are you looking for a mesh solution, or just a centralized management interface for client VPNs, like for a reseller?
Thank you everyone for the siggestions, Pro Custodibus looks decent.
Only for the management interface. I'm using Nyr OpenVPN installation script, but lately the needs are increasing, so to save time and ease for use.
Using only for IP restriction for our backend server.
