I just got scammed over $80 at Zumiv.com

I saw that this VPS service has a datacenter in Singapore and I signed up for a 1-month trial for $1 but after payment I was deducted $80.

    I would recommend you to reach out to your bank or credit card company and discuss the current situation with them. They can help dispute unauthorized charges.

    You can refer to your bank and mention the details of the actual invoice. If their deduction is not proportionate to the actual invoice, you have a lead there.

    Today I went to the bank and reported the incident but it seemed the bank was very unprofessional.

    The incident happened because of me, but if the bank solves the problem, if the customer encounters it, see how they do it, don't think so stupidly.

    You are SOL if you are using a debit card. And I don't know how Vietnamese banks work but I doubt that they offer chargeback, even when you are using a credit card.

    If they are a scam like @TheDP said then I would be worried about your payment details getting stolen as well.

    I have informed the bank to cancel the card and issue a new card.

    I always prefer using PayPal so I can end the subscription anytime from PayPal panel, also can open a dispute without asking the bank.
    If not, I will use a credit card instead of a debit card. If you pay with bank money instead of your debit money, it will be easier to get everything back.

    My friend got unauthorized charge about $1k and can get the money back by using chargeback. Ofc she still need to pay before the due but issuer add credit after few months.
