First survey with an Alpaca option s- had to choose that one. Other than our dear @seriesn whose signature reads like Encyclopaedia Nexusicia on mobile screen, though that becomes an acquired taste in a while. For me, the rest look quite fine.

Ayee man! You need a bigger phone. Shhhhhh
@AnthonySmith not sure if vanila has the option but allowing the users to chose would be better?

Posted this in the rules thread as I didn’t see this before I posted
Perhaps set a character limit, like twitter does per tweet.
Line breaks depends on screen size, landscape or portrait mode.
A specific number of characters could also be coded to exclude the extra characters.
No one would then be able to break the rule as it wont display more than, say 140 chars.

I voted don't care as I don't browse LES on my phone.
Butts.

Remove signature on mobile.
That is the only sensible decision.

I thought that would be the sensible decision, however it seems 94% of the people here don't agree.

Well, the reason is obvious, ain't it?
For many, their sig is a form of ad.

I think that's a bit conspiracy soup.

Indeed, I take what I've written back.
We need signatures! The more, the merrier.

I don't mind the signatures. I'm reading a lot on mobile.
(But in dark mode, I don't see what's links and what's just text, it seems.)
I'm a simple man. I see Alpaca. I vote Alpaca.
I never use a smartphone to browse the Internet unless exceptionally required, not to mention a forum. I'm an old millennial after all
I'd add a css to make signature blink on mobile only, so those dissatisfied with their mobile rendering would be dissatisfied enough to flag "Hide signatures on my mobile device" and log in every time just to have their preference applied. win-win
Voted for reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 'cause why not. I'm more in line with "don't care" but I can see the benefit of removing them.

i think its nice to see sig on mobile. but yeah perhaps not too long, or rather the layout can be optimized. given the fact that providers here are screened more professionally and that some members put their preferred provider aff link it helps those on the lookout (and on the go)
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
Technically, if you view LES on your mobile in landscape orientation with auto-rotate enabled, there is no problem with signature length.

Yeah looks good on landscape. Some adaptation to portrait would be perfect for me already.
And signature is also a unique identity for each member.
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
So I think the obvious way forward to keep everyone happy is just to leave it for now and create a ‘mobile signature’ plugin that forces a shorter signature with perhaps 1 link and also give users the ability to disable signatures on mobile.

Right, I thought that was just a suggestion, well this was just a giant waste of time then.
